So that's your mysterious car, I tried it out. But there were oversteer, lots of it. :crazy:

But I'll probably go with the GTR. May be subject to change.

I tried that Toyota, too but i couldn't get within 3 seconds of Brads time, i think he's using virtual glue on the tyres!
 
Guys, i've recieved a couple of messages asking if i'm willing to switch on driver aids. Personaly i dont' mind if people want to use them - they have their +'s and -'s (drifting, extra speed vs stability but slower speed).

Does anyone have any objections to this happening ?
 
I'll be there on Saturday, looking forward to it! Regardring the driving aids, I'd personally like to keep them to a minimum. Everything off except for optional ABS maybe?

I think people can use whatever they want, except SRF.
But I'd prefer to keep it to a minimum.
 
OK guys, points noted ! Well i've just tried it with a couple of aids switched on ( i don't see the point of Active Steering but each to their own!) and i can't believe how much it slows the cars down through the corners. I improved my best time by just under half a second but i'm still in the 2:07's ! I've checked a few other race series; some have what i've currently proposed (free use of TC and ABS) others have all enabled. My gut feeling is to just switch them all on as the points that have been raised to me by the individuals is that they can't get anywhere near the times set by some people so don't see any point in competing. I don't want to lose racers so i think it's fair to level the playing field so that drivers of all talents can participate. I know that from a personal point of view i do like to use TC (nearly always set on 1) because when i do spin out - and that happens quite a bit) i can't be doing with 30 seconds of wheel-spinning trying to get back on track!

I hope so! Just not had a confirmation post yet but i'll presume that's a big yes! Is it the M3 GTR you are entering or is it undecided?

I've got it down to 2 or 3 different cars for the season.
I'm going to try & use cars that no one else choose :) No BMW's for me.
This may make me uncompetitive but at least it'll give it that bit more diversity & fun xD

Still awaiting confirmation from 3 people from the initial interest list. If i've not heard from them by 2000 uk time tonight (3 hours and 10 minutes from now) then the top 3 on the reserve list will be getting messaged. Unfortunatly one driver has had to pull out (thanks for messaging me, it's appreciated) so cobrius being the 1st on the reserves list gets 1st offer.
