Sounds like you guys had fun! 👍 (btw, the McLaren? :scared: The Zonda? :scared: you guys into S&M or something? :p )

Congrats arvore, better luck next time Kemp! :)

Man, you type fast...probably before my last edit,so...:)

I'm waiting...:p

C'mon we both know You will win...:indiff: albeit the pulpo Paul says otherwise...and if he wants to avoid a destiny involving risotto he'd better be right...:)

Maybe Miguel wanted to make sure, that they drive either the FXX or F40

Owned, totally got me there:O ,I was actually expecting Kemp to go for the FXX or the Enzo...but the other ones are cars that although hard-for both sides-I don't dislike the handling...:dopey:

Congratulations arvore! This one is for you! sorry but you ll have to wait for the videos. I m having troubles with my computer. Can't even turn it on...:grumpy: And sorry again for the late start! Sometime forgivin there are some oldies racing here:D:cool:

Here are the videos of (some...:guilty:) of the races (sorry for the bad quality):

To my great regret, I forgot to record the NĂĽrburgring race. Arvore started first and then race was very close with a 1,5 sec max gap. But never had the opportunity to overtake and Arvore won it:tup:

Mont-Tremblant
Having troubles trying to upload it on Youtube. Patience please!

Misano

Virginia

Silverstone National (wet)

No video, cause no more battery... But Arvore totally mastered it when I was doing too much mistakes, gardening at least 3 or 4 times a lap and when you know how short this track is, it's very disappointing:sick::sick::sick:

To conclude, Arvore is the great winner of these fantastic races we had:tup: All very close and very clean. Thanks and congrats again. :sly:

As reported in NEWS OF THE WORLD:

MAX SPANKS BERNIE!

In the long awaited showdown between SCC impressarios j(Bernie)jaisli & Simcoe(Max)Ace, the (disgustingly deviant) Simcoe eked out a narrow victory over the (derisively diminutive) jaisli.

Rejecting the offered McLaren Stirling Moss & SLR, jaisli opted to race with the equally unruly but even faster McLaren F1.

Brashly refusing a "practice" race, jaisli insisted on jumping straight into the first event: Silverstone. Both drivers had problems keeping the car on the track, but in the end Simcoe proved more consistent over the 5 laps.

Next up: Hockenheim. Exercising better control, both drivers managed a more consistent & close race with jaisli pulling off a narrow victory.

The next venue was Mugello, where Simcoe put a wheel off track early in the race resulting in a wild spin out & leaving jaisli with an easy win.

On to Mont Tremblant. A tight, well executed race by both drivers, until jaisli overshot "The Gultch" turn on the 4th lap, allowing Simcoe to win by a few seconds.

Into the last race at Spa tied 2 - 2. Both drivers were now a little better dialled in on the monstrous McLaren. Four very tight laps followed, with the lead changing hands a couple of times. Then Simcoe, charging hard out of Stavelot, came up fast behind jaisli & nudged him off the track at Blanchimont resulting in a spectacular spin & crash at the fastest section of the track. Simcoe waited for jaisli at the pit straight allowing him to pull some 2 seconds into the lead, but the shaken jaisli made the devastating error of falling off the track at Eau Rouge on the final lap, picking up a penalty & allowing Simcoe to cruise past for a comfortable win.

Unconfirmed reports claim Simcoe(Max)Ace was spotted celebrating at "private clubs" late into the night sporting his trade-mark lederhosen & "historic paraphernalia". Rumours of a rematch are in the air, likely using a more modest, less macho car - one in which j(Bernie)jaisli will actually "be able to reach the pedals" ...

Racing the McLaren, and the Stirling Moss & SLR were also options? That was a cunning plan, very well executed, master Peter :D

Congratulations Biggles(You're now officially challenged),better luck next time Jeff.👍

EDIT: This time will be by the book,5 car choices...3 tracks,no "I don't like that track" talk...and let's see if you chose Spa for the third(fourth?) time.:sly:

Any time my in-denial Portuguese friend! :trouble:

Spa's just too much track for you? :sly:

No, my Canadian, over confident elderly, friend.:)
No I like Spa,very much, albeit the fact I know You're faster than me in that specific track:trouble::cool: ,but from the one who strongly propagated the virtudes of variety and spontaneous,in the fly choice of track and car,You don't seem to be varying that much...:p;)

Congrats Biggles!

After we get weekends 355 Challenge race done and if the leaderboards remain the same, there might be a challenge that is traveling 200kmh on the horizon... ;)

OK, my skeptical, middle-aged pal. So far, I've raced VIR, Hockenheim, Mugello, Monza, Vallelunga, Spa, Mont Tremblant, Silverstone, Riviera & (unofficially) Nurburgring. I guess that means our next ecounter will have to feature Infineon, Redwood, & of course Homestead, California & Paul Ricard. :sly:

5 cars & 3 tracks that's the only thing I'll promise You...:sly:

Then Simcoe, charging hard out of Stavelot, came up fast behind jaisli & nudged him off the track at Blanchimont

Nudged? I hate to make this post sound like sour grapes but, "nudged"???? You hit me so hard that I slammed into the wall on the right side of the track, bounced across the track, slammed into the wall on the left side, bounced back again, hit the wall on the right side and ended up in the middle of the track, spinning around completely about 6-7 times. I would call it more than a nudge. On a scale of 1-10, I would give your attempted pass about a 0.3! :grumpy: But I could feel your desperation already at Silverstone, where your report also neglects to mention that you 'nudged' me off the track. TWICE!!! And when I told you this back in the lobby, your response was classic. "Oh, I heard you say something but I couldn't quite make it out". :sly: Nice one! So the old man fights with chains and brass knuckles. Oh-ho!

But I've got your number now. And I'll be better prepared...next time. :)

We all know about Peter's hearing problems ... consider yourself lucky he had a functional headset!

Well guys what can I say:O...Biggles is paying me off to boost him up in the ranking?đź’ˇ:dopey:
But I have to be honest...the Racing socks Mandolin player beated me again:ouch::indiff::nervous::sick: :guilty: :grumpy:
Again it was close(3-2)...again I've got that sour feeling that I've could\should have beaten him...but I didn't.:dunce:

In a brief recap, this time everything was by the book:

5 car choices:F40 ,430 ;355;348 all in their challenge version and the 360GT.
Biggles chose the last one.
I chose Monza wet,Silverstone National Wet, Nurburgring.
Biggles chose M.T. and Infineon.
We did a 5 lap warm up(which I won) at Vallelunga...warm ups should count...I always win them.:dunce:
We started on Monza and after much close racing ,drafting and exchanging the lead...I finally Nudged(=euphemism in vogue for violently slammed) Peter off the track at Parabolica in the end of lap 4...I immediately stopped...let him rejoin the track...but the 2 seconds I stayed behind after this were very hard to regain in 1 lap(despite of a very bumper to bumper finish),since we were doing very identical lap times (again) all night.
In Infineon Raceway Biggles went off by himself at the first lap and gave me an easy victory pretty much story less.
After we did Nurburgring,in the beginning of lap 2 I had a little mistake that got me 3 seconds behind and which I could not recover-again the identical lap times.
In Silverstone National Wet(9 laps) things were pretty close until Peter nudged me and pulled back, after this incident I got a 2 second gap that again the identical lap times didn't allowed him to recover...
So we reached the Grande Finale again with a tie...right at the beginning of the 2nd lap I went off at the triple apex descending right hander and immediately realized that was it...:grumpy: never the less I tried to recover, again very close lap times,5 seconds behind at the beginning of lap 5 and then...Biggles got DC... since the race was almost over and I wouldn't have been able to regain 5 seconds in half a lap for sure didn't seemed fair to restart this race...and I knew Biggles had the Salad already waiting for him...so we called it off for the night.
Congratulations Peter...it was fun as always, thanks for the racing.👍
Apparently this time it's better for me to sit tight waiting that one of the faster drivers below me in the raking wants to restore some true to the Leaderboard...and restrain myself to challenge Biggles for a couple of weeks or else he might reach the first position without ever had to race Alan or Henrick...:ouch:

Not good, I was online two nights ago but didn't meet you. I'm going away from home today and will only return monday ( or even maybe tuesday). So, if you want to challenge someone else in the meantime, please do. If not, either monday night or (most probably) tuesday night are good for me. Can only play (late) night, sorry

For me it would've been basically today or tomorrow, weekend wouldn't suit for me either. So maybe we'll wait and see what next week looks like.

BIGGLES FALLS TO HMH!

In the biggest sporting upset since the Buster Douglas/Mike Tyson fight, the grizzled, undefeated SCCRL veteran SimcoeAce lost in a bitterly contested match with the Danish Dervish, hmh66.

Racing the little-known 430 Scuderia, hmh won the first race convincingly at Mugello after SimcoeAce made an early error. The second race at Hockenheim, in the rain, was very closely fought with hmh winning by half a second. Next up, Vallelunga where a very close race was won by Simcoe by less than half a second. The fourth race was at Infineon where hmh again won with a convincing 5 second margin. With the result no longer in doubt, the finale, held at a rain-soaked Spa resulted in another close race, with the lead changing hands several times & Simcoe winning by a narrow margin.

Responding to claims that SimcoeAce was "washed up", the Mad Dogs team manager pointed out that Simcoe had been racing cranky & weakened due to missing his regular Saturday afternoon nap. "We'll be back!" he promised...

HAHA
Great reveiw peter
Couldn't have sayed it better myself.Very good and close races.

Hello there,

I've owned this game for a few months now and have noticed quite a few of you regulars online and have to say the racing is much more fun and clean. I'm not always on pace, especially when it's a track you are doing some serious time on for your series, but I think this smaller league may be better suited to my limited practice time.
