Take The Getaway 2: Black Monday for example. It has been out since November and we're (US) just getting it today... :sly:

So, almost everything... :sly:

And no, I don't want to import... I'd rather wait just in case there are any changes between the different versions.

I'm buying the european version as well when it comes out, just for the fact that the game will be in English, but will also have smoothened out any of the tiny tiny flasws in the game.But the Japanese version will do me for just now.

U lucky bastards already have Metal Gear Solid 3! I have it in the computer shop beside my house but i need to wait till Saturday to play it when i'll get my new PS2 chipped.

And Prologue was nothing special so you didn't miss out on anything. Everyone who bought it probably completed it on the first day they got it because it really was just a tiny sample.
 
Grraaaar! I can just see it now... Sony is sitting on GT4, waiting until Forza is released while Microsoft is waiting to see when GT4 is released. We'll never get either!! It's enough to make you pull your hair out...

woooaw a real top game, i thought GTA:San Andreas was Tons better and was euuhhhmm, o yea it was first in the USA 💡 :sly:
 
GT4Prologue sucked. It was the same as GT3 with the only difference that you got 100% in 30min. Everything about the gameplay was the same as GT3. The BMW demo was much more different in gameplay then GT4P so i'm wondering that GT4 is still more improved then the BMW demo.

About the february release, let's hope so but I'm not counting on it. I just got a suspicion that its gonna come out in march

That would be funny if while these 2 are waiting, Konami could take everyone by surprise and release Enthusia.

Gran Turismo 4 Prologue was the first game to support the 900 degrees mode of the Driving Force Pro wheel.
I mainly bought it so see how that mode works when it is truly supported by a game.
In the end though I came to the same conclusion as you did and my interest in GT4 dropped accordingly.
The BMW demo is much better, I agree with that.

99.9999999% of games are in America first, Resident Evil 4 is out and yet in Australia their is no confirmation what soever

atleast Halo 2 had a worldwide release date!
 
Prologue didnt feel much better then Concept, both have 'similar' graphical improvements over gt3, handling is a fraction better on Prologue though...

The tracks are crap though!

Not to mention live for speed 2 and Simbins GTR which have been equally as frustrating... Its like all the sim developers got together and decided to tease the world, and worst of all the US.
 
Well now i'm really believing Feb. 22nd. PSM has put Feb22nd as the release date of GT4 along with other games in their "calendar" page.

Maybe they tease you all US people because of the war in Irak or George Bush. But it would be stupid if it is so.

How are the tracks on Prologue crap, Citta de Attira is one of the best and most challenging track to appear in the GT series, and Fuji has always been regarded as one of the finest high speed tracks in the world.
 
Citta Di Aria (or whatever) was a fun track but I grew bored of the scenery, Fuji was alright but I quickly got bored of Tsukuba & the Grand Canyon. Fairly Neutral on New York track, its not bad for a city circuit.

I have to concur... I loved Fuji... although I hope they stop the ability to cheat cos I can't resist when I'm about to lose a race (Usually cos I've been pissing around with a massively overpowered car without traction control or an underpowered car that doesn't need it!) but I have to say that Citta D'Aria was really frustrating due to the 10 sec penalty... It's an awesome course... but I could never quite get a free run without being really ****ed off by it!!

Ok you wanna know what its based on. I will tell you whats its based on. Back last year there was a press release about GT4 and one of things said was there US release date will be 4 days behind the Uk release. (not in those words of course) This website you keep advertising is nothing more than a group of 11 people trying to make money through web advertising who know little about games. All they do to get their info is copy what everyone else is saying and use common sense to guess the releases of games. oh and of course add offical sounding wording to make the website seem bigger.
