SCEE confirms European GT4 launch date

It's too bad we can't just rename this thread "More of the same release date speculation".

Besides. I have the real release date. A friend of mine has a cousin who is dating a girl who works at Wal-Mart, and she asked the guy who sweeps up at night in the games section, and he said the release date for the U.S. would be February 29th. :sly:

I don't really care when it's released in the US. As long as it actually come out I'll be happy.
 
? I thought the US version gets released before the PAL Yamauchi is a racist! Japan and Europe all got prologue .. and concept?, and we have gotten NATTA

SCEE have Feb 2005 on their oficial pages, so i hope it will be out during late february. Question is, when it will be availaible in local store.

When US version will be with online mode, then I order one there man! But don't count on it. Its stupid that there are still so many with 56Kb. Here in europe lots of people already have high bandwidth connections? But even then, the online function is going to be maybe in GT5 or even later.

About those languages. You are right about the english games. We're used to that language when it comes to games. Only Electronic Arts has dutch in his software. Its easy and nice but most of the time I choose english. Same with my laptop --> all english software on it!

this is true...i mean even as spanish ass i am :), english is a must in the game....or somebody does not understand : START , LOAD , SAVE or press Square ( &#9633; ) ???

They need more time to fix some BUGS and add some Lang....like Hinti, Catalan, Gallego , Baske and more......like SONY said...

And the Online Story, is a huge Missunderstanding. Im paying about 60 Euros for
2000 kbit Download and 400 kbits Upload .... in French for 20 Euros u have nearly 8 Mbits and xxx Upload....so there is and WILL be the Problem in the Future, even with PS3, IC3Cub3 2or X-X-XL Box 2 ( maybe not ). The games grows and so the Data also, what then ??? Again huge Lags, thx to thoose with 56 K Modem or with just 200 Kbtis Upload....

About Online, Sony must learn from MACROHARD, how thing must done.....

So with Ps3 i will/must upgrade to Satellite Internet with 20 Mbits and more of Download Rate.....:dunce: :scared: :ouch:

Gamefront.de (which usually updates its release dates directly from the publishers) has a new list of PAL release dates from SCEE.

It's weird, because the last time Gamefront posted the same list from Sony, the date was the 23rd of February. As you can all see, the date is now bolded (which, as you can read on the bottom, means that the date was changed since the last "version") as the 9th of March. Don't take this as final nor as completely official, but there is a very good chance that this is the final date (unless Sony magically manages to get it back to the 23rd of February)

That really is an awesome reply and it looks like im one of the only people to understand your joke. That was a really good one, especially the feb 29th part. You are smarter than they give you credit for. :) 👍
Anyway EB just changed the release date to 3/14/05

Who here is sick of fake release dates ??? I AM , if you pass along false information, whether not you made it up, or got it from your sisters boyfriends pet iguana that used to be in the pet dept at walmart that was only 3 deptartments away from the games section where he confirmed a release date...YOU WILL BE CHARGED WITH THE DEATH PENALTY , YOU WILL DIE BY TRAMPLING OF GT4 ANTICIPATERS WORLD WIDE ( EXCEPT FOR JAPAN, THEY ALREADY HAVE IT )

Plus, at this point, the guess of a night janitor at Wal-Mart would be just as accurate as what everone else is saying...

Well, it looks like you have clear "I Need Gran Turismo 4" symptoms, I'm going to reccomend you go into GT3 and Do at least 2 laps A day on A course of your choosing, That should help stop the Anger Sensation. If your still feeling Anger and Pain feelings I Suggest that you go see your Doctor.

Everywhere says 25th of feb but i cant help thinking its going to randomly pop through my door before that when im not expting it. They probally dont know when its going to be fimished so they set the release date so late and as soon as the translation is finished they move it forward without us knowing untill it pops through our doors one day

Im angry because GT4 isnt realsed yet, and it gets on my nerves :nervous: :nervous: that i will have to wait another 2 months :ouch: 👎

Sony confirms March 9th for PAL-Version! So US will come in the middle of march^^

no offense but i dont belive you as ive found over 20 uk websites which confirm its 25th of feb in UK. 1 german website wont convince me especily considering it said the 9th. Games are allways released in fridays here in the UK not wednesdays. Besides they have nothing to jain by leaving it that long and it was release back in Japan back in december 2004.

Im getting mightily pissed off with sony for constantly changing the release date, this is now set at 18.03.05 by game, and ill bet it wont even make it then, im so tempted to buy an import copy but dont know what price im going to pay for it, as i dont know how it works with import duty and the like, any ideas would be appreciated,
