Thanks Wardez, I was thinking about dropping just 1 result but 3 would probably even out the odd no show/lag out

Today is the last full day of testing on the setup, I will be finalizing the Setup tomorrow and it will go live after that

How does everyone feel about changing the races from a Sunday night to a Saturday late afternoon?

this would of course mean changing Qualifying about a bit, I was thinking of starting Qualifying at 4PM GMT,then the race would start at 4:45PM GMT, race will roughly last 45 minutes so it should all be cleared up for 5:30GMT
 
Ok I'll send all entrants a message over XBL about the times as to confirm with everyone

Only a few hours left of testing and the setup will be live tomorrow, I would like to have a quick informal pre season practice session tomorrow with whoever can make it, roughly 5/6pm GMT

great practice this afternoon, looking forward to the races. it make a change to race with clean drivers for once. not as fast as you boys but still enjoy taking part. spun a couple of times in the practices, thats not too bad just need a bit more time with it.
 
Yeah still a lot to learn in regards to how the car behaves in a race situation, I noticed that Manual w/clutch is a fair bit faster than just manual

when i use the clutch i seem to lock the wheels when changing down which starts the car slidding allover the place :banghead:
 
Sorry I've been a bit distant from this recently, I've got A level exams over the next two weeks so I've been busy revising :( once it's past the 20th though I'll make sure to get more involved again though :)
 
I downloaded the new tune a day or two ago but haven't had a chance to check it out yet. I am down with Sunday qualifying and racing. Maybe Saturday evening but I work permanently on Saturday till 10PM GMT, 4PM CST if I did the calculating correct.
 
hey, it's your call. Honestly, I found tuning my own cars to take up a lot of time now so if you make the switch to Saturday, I won't mind at all. Not that I want to get out of this cause it sounds like fun but I don't want your and all your work to be held up but a few people or maybe just me if you want Saturday.
 
If it stays on Sundays then my likelyhood of making more than a couple races is extrememly low. I have baseball workouts every Sunday afternoon, along with schoolwork and school TV production club work. Saturday (or Friday) is easier for me. But it's still your call.
 
Saturdays are looking most likely, but I would like the input from everyone who has put their name down before coming to a decision
 
At the moment there are no spaces, but I expect that to change once the times are set in stone it will be inevitable we will loose 1 or 2 people
 
I've yet to confirm a new date to start but I think pre season practice will start this weekend
 
I realize everything is still in the air about when races will occur and everything else but I am just going to withdraw from the comp. I have honestly severely lost interest and found new ways to keep busy already. Thanks though for lending me your setups and letting me help tune and such. I enjoyed that a lot.
Would you like all your tunes back and paints? I don't want to keep them if you're afraid I will use them as my own.
 
I sadly must do the same as Bry. I simply am not interested nor do I have time. Plus since signing up I have discovered Skyrim and have lost my entire social life because of it :D

Although if no one wants my spot I'd like to stay in the roster and possibly show up for a race or two.
 
It would seem a fair amount of entrants have lost interest since I've yet to receive confirmation of what times are suitable, I'm happy to shut this down if interest does not improve from new and existing players
 
If you are going to set something up again, I would shorten your time line next time. You sent me the car to start testing then started this thread. When I realized practicing and qualifying wouldnt start for almost two months, it was a bit of a let down.

Agreed, if the races had started a couple weeks ago I would have still been interested (although that isn't a very good idea on my part since it was winter break, but you get the point).
 
That's why I left the official racing until after the holidays, I also wanted to get everyone on to have a few practice races so that everyone could get used to how the car behaves, the finished setup only went live last Friday so not that long when you think about it, the reason racing hasn't started earlier was everyone I messaged on XBL to confirm a time 1 or 2 people only got back to me the rest didn't and I wanted a time that suited everyone
