Is how you can express I love the new seasonal. Nothing but Civics!

I took out my Type R sedan and had a great time drifting past the corners on Clubman and Tokyo, and has a good payout instead of grinding the Supercar, k-car, and the muscle car seasonals over again. And I'm liking that you can also win more suits/helmets as you win these events instead of completing one event win all of them and attempt it again you don't get anything.

Oh man, driving the CIVIC TYPE R '08 is one of THE most delicious cars to drive for this seasonal of Civics. A stock CIVIC TYPE R '08 with racing softs = pure racing car joy.

Still a lot of fun just defeats the purpose of "quick grinding" on the comfort softs :)

If he wants to grind , he should use the fully 450 PP and not a half car with max tyres. ;)

I tried with the stock Type R EK `98 with CS.I´m still 4.8secs off.
Maybe I try with an Oil Change.

Thaks PD. This is indeed great news because it isn't thursday yet.

This thing with helmets and suits is nice - i will be grinding for those.
 
Didn't believe what I read so I re-ran the first race and sure enough, got my second helmet. Good thing I'm off today :)

And great call by PD again on this... they sure know how to appease folks 👍

Start a race for 60 seconds, exit, go to replay and check all compounds for every AI car.

You're welcomed.

Well at least we have the complainers that complain about complainers, even if they didn't complain. Well done.
 
The really cool thing about this round of seasonals is the big payout every time you run a new race, i've managed to get a couple of expensive cars (Jag XJR9 and the Bentley Speed 8) and i am now grinding for the Ford Race Car (not the GT40, the red one, forgot what it's called) and the Ferrari P4.

Plan: Get home from work, eat food, get beer, run all races with Type-R '01 for cash/wins, dig out the old '79 and tune it for laughs and lowest PP wins. :sly:

Gonna try it out when I get the chance. Stock comfort softs in the drift factory that is the Honda Civic can only mean more slippery fun and my tires singing to the tune of thick tyre clouds.
 
Hey all,

Just done the Deep Forest race and got third in a bone stock EK (running mid 1:40's). Whacked on some sports softs and was first by the end of the third lap (running 7 seconds quicker!). Great little seasonal - cheers PD :)
 
Looks great and could be a good alternative to k car grinding, especially given the new helmets/suits everytime business! Could anyone confirm the xp for these races, or point me in the direction if anyone has already posted, I couldn't see it anywhere sorry.

Don't remember exactly but it's from about 37k to 45k depending on which race.

No. Every time you finish 1st you get either a helmet or suit plus the credits and experience.

Sorry for double post but I'm not sure you can multi quote on android app.
 
Eifel done in 4'35 with the EK9 RM at 1st attempt, 435PP, engine not overhauled. Did a 53"xxx. Can be improved by some seconds.

XP for Deep Forest is 39000,
XP for Clubman is 39600,
XP for Suzuka is 42300,
XP for Tokyo is 41100 and
XP for Eifel is 43800.

Anyone know if you're allowed to use the Spoon Civics ? Or do they count as 'race versions' ? Cheers, Bill
 
The Spoon Civic isn't in the list as far as I can see, but I haven't got one to try anyway - I know someone mentioned earlier that you couldn't use the Mugen either so it's probably the same. :(

This but not winning it first with the Type-R '01... starting with the stock '79 or '83!

By the way, why are there still people grinding like nuts??? I heard going to grind this and that. There you get a lot of XP and money, but seriously, what did they do in the last time? Still not at level 40 with grinding? I'm almost there and haven't done any grinding yet!

I don't know. I'm A36, playing since november, and only done special and online events, and just starting with A-spec. Sure I hotlap a lot, but I'm intended to play this game almost until 2014 - when I suppose GT6 will be ready, or near to be ready. I've MANY time to collect money.

Only did Eifel kei race a dozen of times in the last two days, to save money for a Miura. It's very tempting with 3x revenue, but quite bored now: I decided to do it only 3-4 times a day until I can afford that car. With this seasonal update we are almost sure that 3x is extended almost over the next week.

Exactly. Recently in another thread I discussed how the Seasonals have taken away the need to grind creds - not that I did anyway.

Have fun, make money! I'm sure we've got a few years to get to lvl 40 before GT6 comes out anyway. :)

Back on topic - It doesn't sound like we need the racing Civics for this anyway.

Such a great idea with the prizes. They should put it up for online MP races aswell. Would be a real steepening incentive. :)
 
Racing Civics not required at all...Took the premium Type R '08 from the Dealership and just added Sport Softs and it was easy.
