Well actually last things bought are new riding gear and a new helmet, but don't have pictures of it.
Bought the bike last Saturday and picked it up today. :D

FZS600? I used to ride one of those. Great machine. 👍

Today my Rode DSLR shotgun mic arrived (+deadcat). Just tested it out audio quality and I'm amazed what this thing does. So the aftermovie of our trip to Le Mans this year will have some descent audio. Last year when we went to F1 on the red bull ring I only had a gopro and sound quality on those could not be used.

And of course a link to the F1 Red Bull Ring Road Trip:

Some signed prints from the current Magnum sale that's about to finish today:

Jonas Bendiksen:

Stuart Franklin:

Bruce Gilden:

I had the more famous version of the Bendiksen image as a desktop image for years, so I jumped at the chance for a print of an alternate version. The Franklin image is iconic and the Gilden is one of my favourites of his.

🤬

Saw this about to start, last sunday, and the complete forgot about it :banghead:

Ouch. There'll always be the print sale in October/November though. I follow Magnum (and several Magnum photographers) on Facebook/Instagram so it's hard to miss during the week it's on.

Shoot me a PM if you're interested in sharing libraries.

After you move all the porn to an unshared folder. :P
This could take a while. I'm away for a long weekend, so I'll get all the filth copying across now and it should be done by the time we get back on Monday. ;)

Never shared libraries like that before. I'll look into it. 👍

So, I'm to blame that the two of you are going to share libraries. And it is also my fault that you; @axletramp have to look into how to share libraries. I gave you extra work.

Or it is a positive thing I did. :D

In doing some research into trees for screening our patio with some Pyramidal Arborvitae, I came across this gem of a site that gives a very good description of the zone hardiness, potential issues, type of soil it prefers and how to address deer eating it in the winter:
As with all arborvitae species deer will eat this species in the winter but trees are rarely killed as new foliage can sprout from the branches even if no green is showing. Repellant, fencing or bullets may have to be used in heavy deer areas.

After pulling the trigger on 7 of them, I guess a gun should be my next purchase.

Bullets are repellant, you just have to hold onto the dispenser tighter.

I just bought this truck off my grandfather in California. Seeing as how he wasn't using it and I'd put about a 1,000 miles on it every time I went out, I figured I'd take it off his hands and drive it back to Georgia... so I did :D

2002 Ford F-150 SuperCrew XLT with the 5.4L Triton V8 and RWD. It only had ~37,000 miles on it before I bought it and besides some tired paint and scratches, it's damn near flawless. I'm a true Georgia boy now that I have more truck than I'll ever need

At least it's not got a bowtie!

Annnd some fresh new top mounts.

Such good changes to my little nugget! It feels quite a lot more confident on the road now I've refreshed a few things, and I'll be more comfortable trusting the brakes when I go out for a good ol' drive day. 👍
