Half purchase, half freebie. After 15 years of service at work, they saw to furnish me with £200 in gift cards. So seeing as these were £60 off I picked up a pair. I’d have preferred the Sony but can’t look a gifthorse in the mouth.

MTB gloves for motorcycling? Why not.
Despite the pic, I bought them in person to try them on. Needless to say what they fit like…

These are my first full finger gloves. Ever. I’ve always ridden with half fingers because I like to pick my nose at the traffic lights.

I'm not saying this is the greatest knife ever made, but it's definitely the greatest knife ever made.

It's a Boker Kalashnikov "Dessert Warrior" 2.5" automatic. It's a special edition made for Blade HQ and I love it. I've been trying to get one since they first dropped last November and I finally managed to snag one. Wish I could've gotten the 3.25" one, but it was sold out by the time I got to the website.

Windows 11 should be rolling out next month. Apparently it’s a free upgrade from 10.

F windows.
More forced updates
The taskbar is reminiscent of GNOME3s taskbar.
I never liked GNOME3, i was a GNOME2 holdout.

But now I run Linux Mint

Frankly Windows 11 is kinda like Windows 10 Facelift.
Same crap under the hood, but with some tweaks done here and there.

All the functionality of Windows 11 could've been a Feature Update to Win10 and at least Microsoft would've been able to keep their word of "The Last Version of Windows", not to mention they would not have pissed off many people with this TPM2.0 crap and your 4 year old PC is not compatible crap.

I guess it’s not my latest purchase since I got them last month, but they’re for this weekend.

2 frontstretch tickets to this weekends Southern 500. And the truck race before it.

Just bought a 20lb weighted blanket on Amazon (:yuck:). I had a gift card from my birthday, so
I thought I'd finally get one after waiting.

Does anyone have any experience with weighted blankets? I generally have a hard time falling asleep.

Library is slowly coming together. Temporarily using these two cubby holes in the wall as a library. I'm thinking of putting all the Canterbury Classics special editions in this coffee area and build a personal library upstairs.

Scored a 2nd hand, but never-unwrapped Evnroll ER5v with a custom matte black shaft. Man, I love rich Asian people. I sank a putt from across the platform on the first time I picked this thing up at the PGA store, so I knew I had to have one. But I wasn't gonna pay $400 for a damn putter lol. That's more than my whole bag.

Anyway, my 2-ball fang mallet is all over the place and the grip is too small for my hands. Love that I got it for 100 bucks, but realized I couldn't pick the ball up once I got it and I knew it was only a matter of time before I went to a new putter.

I backed a Kickstarter for “Goodbye, Battle Princess Peony” by Mira Ong Chua. I got the book and several postcards and stickers in the mail today. It’s a yuri shoujo fantasy, and it’s wonderful.

I bought these effects pedals over the last few months. They’re from Billionaire by Danelectro. They came out in 2017, but you can still pick them up new. They’re also fairly cheap at around $80 each. This is the full set. I love how they sound.

Technically I didn't buy these. Was hooked up by Logitech and a group I'm doing a mentorship program through called Queer Women of Esports, but I got a nice Blue Yeti Nano mic (which I used to replace my old Blue Yeti) and a Logitech StreamCam camera which is absolutely fantastic

Wednesday means comic books. DC had a big sale over the Labor Day weekend at ComiXology, so I helped myself to the six graphic novels that cover Grant Morrison’s run on Doom Patrol back in the late-‘80s/early-‘90s. Normally $12.99 each, they were only $2.99 each.

Snagged it off Craigslist for $60.

As if I need another thing. I'm having a very hard time enjoying Project Cars and Assetto Corsa with a pad, so I thought I'd go for one of the best budget racing wheels. I was going to go even cheaper by getting one of those Logitech MOMO things, but this is actually pretty good, and from what I hear, people still use them.

For $60, not bad. I've definitely spent that much on burritos in a month. I'll have to reduce the burrito budget to $0 to compensate :ill:
