In light of the potential for an extremely long limp home, maybe we lessen the damage multiplier a little for this course?

Well we can’t run gr.3. So I would like to run that Red Bull car. But wondering if you guys had reccommdations for other cars. It’s a long track to test on.

Not necessarily true - we could run a gr.3 car that is significantly faster (remember BoP turned off).
The Viper and Citreon GT and BMW M6 are all very very fast when you run them with BoP off, to the point where they'd probably be 20 seconds faster a lap (take this with a grain of salt though) than the Porsche.

I'll test some cars, do you want to be in a slower car or a faster car?

Very true, the Porsche is around 500HP. The Supra Racing Concept Gr. 3 is also around the 600HP area. It's Nordschleife but there's always Gr. C to go faster than Gr. 3 hehe That would rattle some fillings

citron will be the car in my garage for the next FIA season. Very fast, controllable car.

Edit: I can't remember who it was in the lobby during warm-ups on Tuesday explaining the Gift car carousel trick but I tried it and got the car I wanted now two days in a row.

The Citreon with BoP on is pretty stable, and hardly makes use of it's gears - when you turn BoP off, that thing is a wild animal.

Well we really only have 3 options:
- No Damage
- Light Damage (you get damage but it goes away in like 5 seconds)
- Heavy Damage (what we use now)

...so we'll have to stick to heavy damage.

I think heavy damage is fine, people should learn to tone down their driving to stick to the track, especially on longer tracks.
Everyone else needs to be patient as well as any accident will potentially be horrible for multiple people.

Agreed. The damage model is a little strange though. I've had times where I spun out and finally tapped the wall at something under 20mph and still got some damage. I believe that happened in the Audi R8 race. Gotta be really careful.

I’m glad that’s working for you. It’s crazy how it works. There will be times it doesn’t but it may be a timing thing.

Can you let them know the sequence of buttons to push please? I was experimenting with it and I think it's one full carousel rotation then push the symbol for the car you want but you have to push it in sequence with the rotation point for the car, meaning clockwise.

Once all the cars and the circles or platforms are visible and the cars are in a cross pattern then you select with the square triangle circle and x button when it’s highlighted under the car you want. So if you want the left car then you push square when the highlight is under that car. (This is not a guarantee every time but I get the car I want more often than not!)

Yeah I’m gonna need you to cancel your plans

@Neutty let me know what cars you are looking at testing and I'll try to get some done tomorrow. Will be gone all day again sat and coming in hot on FIA.

As far as damage...it is what it is. Most if not all my damage was self inflicted last time we did this track, so no one to blame. Of course it was probably Sam, Brad or whoever else was racing that night fault.:)
