Watch the gear selection indicator whenever he shifts from 3rd into 4th gear. 5th gear is shown briefly just before it goes into 4th.

I started sharing my replays a while back because I had a friend that started doing that brake/abs thing and I wanted people to view my non top 10 replay if needed. I'm going to start putting them on share again.
 
Pretty sure it's just a matter of up upshifting one too many gears and then quickly downshifting to the proper gear. It helps negate some of the shift lag. Like I said, use at your own risk. Were trying to do away with any of these shifting exploits in SNAIL.

There was a post I read somewhere that explained it with a video attached that I'll try to find.
 
I've heard of it but not sure how well it works. My understanding is that its literally shifting up twice and down once with the Paddles. Even if there is more to it, doubt he would be doing it if there wasn't an advantage. I'm guessing its going to be really small, as I don't see a big difference in efficiency with the rpm change, but when you are fighting for hundreds...
Not worth the effort for normal folks.

Checked 2 of my other friends and they beat me fair. I'm simply having a difficult time with this car but my optimal is an 11.3 so there is hope.

No didn't have to check @SAMHAIN85, because alien...

Interesting video, just to make sure, we are not using the glitch right?
 
Ran the video at .25 speed and can now see the double shifting. So basically if your reflexes are quick enough it's hard to detect.

No, it's an exploit and not allowed in anything SNAIL. Pretty sure it would also be banned in the gtp OLR.
 
So, I watched lester's tt and the number 1 tt. I can only see lester going to 5th, but not the number 1 guy. It is confusing me.

Edit, I figured it out

Edit 2: I have found that it doesn't help me, either way I improved my time, currently 8 on NA

What BB have you settled on? I've ran within a tenth using-5 to 3. Seem to be more consistent with 0 and that's how I managed my best time. Can run a string of 11. 3s but 11.1 eludes me.

Wife has been asking me to spend less time doing TTs lol. Hopefully get on for an hour tomorrow before driving to Toronto to watch the game at my sister's. I'm thinking the time is better spend trying to get a better lap in daily C than A.

I made my first video using share factory on my race C lap if anyone wants to see it. Has my new snail and CnF stickers, but not really good using the livery.

Not a great lap, miss a few apexs, but it took a lot of effort to get to 100 at the time. Think I'm out by now.

I have a time that shows up in game and I can see pretty much everyone on the list who are on the My Friend's TT list.
Edit: And I have received the in game confirmation that I am friends with Snailracing__Org
