I would like to suggest to be able to put snow/dirt tyres on every car in GT6.

I can put dirt tyres on my Aston Martin VGT, but not my BMW 320i WTCC (which would make an excellent Rallycross TouringCar), or my Audi R8, which is more or less the same sort of car (mid-engined, four-wheel-drive)... it's annoying how inconsistent it is.

And if anything it's more realistic than not having the option of putting them on cars, because chances are someone's done it in the real world.

In one sense it would be good because it would remove the uncertainty - I brought the Subaru Impreza Touring car and it wouldn't take rally tyres

The reason why rally tyres are available on a limited number of vehicles is kind of obvious. It would be unrealistic, and I would have thought it would put Rally cars to shame, because the lack of a realistic damage model could mean you could take the Red Bull X2011 (despite its RWD and low ride height) and go considerably faster than even a pikes peak car around a rally course. I don't think the rally fans wouldn't tolerate it if that was the case. Fortunately, it isn't.

Although, I sometimes wonder why certain road vehicles can't be equipped with rally tyres. Hopefully through updates, or in GT7, all road worthy vehicles + rally cars will be able to be equipped with rally tyres. How about the Audi R8, or a Lambo in the snow..?

Speaking of rally tyres, lets assume that the tyre model for both dirt and snow has been improved in GT7. We already have multiple compounds for track tyres. Why not rally tyres? In many WRC scenarios, rallies have been won and lost by tyre choice. Hard compound tyres are more durable, but soft compound tyres are more grippy.

If they added a puncture mechanic in GT7, they could add a feature where you can change a punctured tyre when stationary at the side of the stage. It would work especially well on a point to point stage, where you have to be aware of cars in front and behind you.
