So 1.11 is out are we happy?

No, why would I be happy when the grinding is still there? Grinding for cars against the same bad AI on the same single player races is not a progression system. It's just a really simplistic way of getting people to come back to the game daily to unlock content they already paid $60 for. Give me a car per day like we got in GT Sport so I can opt-out of this treadmill so many of y'all seem content to stay on.

And why aren't online races the biggest payouts? Do they want Sport mode to continue to only attract a narrow group of players?

106 events, including championships. Why not have new game plus that assigns a prize car to each event. Then it becomes an actual old school GT game.

At least in this topic world is still OK. The patch is at least something but probably most people needed much more. How hard is it to add new races in a racing game? We got three after 14 days of work? Sure and some missions I don't care about.

It’s a nice improvement, but I wouldn’t go so far as to say it’s fixed when a lot of the added revenue streams are one-time payouts.

The moderate ~50% bump to custom race payouts should’ve been more like 500%, for instance. And it sounds like online races are still similarly underwhelming.

Yeah, it's from very bad to not so bad. I would like to have feeling like I have so much stuff to do and no time. Never happened after Cafe. The game is completely empty from racing perspective. Custom races would be nice but we know the payments. I need to cherry pick some good stuff what's there and it's not easy at all.

I'm definitely happy with the improvements. Rewarding people for circuit experience was a nice touch. The endurance races will keep me busy for a couple of weeks and the payouts for the new races is amazing.

As for the sport mode payouts ... well, I guess if they made those generous then people would accuse PD of hiding payouts behind a paywall.

The economy adjustments made it possible for me to save enough to get the CLK LM, which has made doing the new 800pp races a breeze which means I can get money for future cars I want, so I'm happy enough. Unfortunately events are still these obstacle course nightmare rolling starts with AI who drive at 70% but still try to defend you into corners and randomly get out of your way in others. I didn't expect that to change immediately though, but I don't think the races themselves will be fun unless the AI are actually fast enough to challenge you and aren't spread sparsely across half the damn track.

I'm happy, Yes. Currency/economy issues are fixed IMHO.

I would like to see new content added month or 2. For the race previews? I need a weather forecast. I need to know if rain should be expected. I also think that for Manu races, you should get all racing tires for free instead of having to buy them.

MY BIGGEST ISSUES? I need PD to Ghost lapped traffic as I was just in a Daily C race at Spa that was ruined by a POS that was hanging out along Courbe Paul Frere and intentionally taking out the leader.

I also need Reporting people to come back and PD to ACTUALLY do something about drivers that purposefully ruin races.

Maybe because a lot of it is straight line and PD thought it wasnt difficult to complete it while I've seen a lot of post saying Nurburgring is really hard now (didnt went to do it yet). There was even a post saying that the OP believed 99% of people wouldnt be able to gold that circuit expercience. So I'm guessing that's why the Nurb is 5 mil. And lets be honest, La Sarthe is not really technical, its just that it last 24h and it's hard on the cars because you're at full power a long period of time and you have traffic to manage.
The final two sectors of Sarthe are probably more technical than the entirety of Red Bull Ring, Monza & Sardegna road circuit, yet all 3 of those give the same money as Sarthe

Imo it should be based more on circuit size/lap time than difficulty to complete.

Brands Hatch, while still a relatively easy circuit, is a more difficult circuit to get right than something like Monza or Red Bull Ring, because the track is so narrow & mistakes often equal death.
Yet the payout for brands hatch is lower than all 3 of them.

I'm amused that the endurance missions are called "The Human Comedy".

Kaz's vision for the game was long haul - earn credits over hours of gameplay to buy cars. We obviously disagreed and wanted better payouts. The result is people now making millions of credits in a handful of races, when the majority of cars are less than a million credits (exceptions being halo cars and legendaries).

Kaz knows this ruins his long haul vision for the games economy. Kaz knows we'll soon have every car we want, and a number of players will get bored and move on to other games, but he gave us what we demanded anyway.

That is the human comedy.
That too caught my attention. The human comedy as I understand it could be a reference to something but I understand it as endurance races bringing out every emotion in you.

Was already happy with the game anyway apart from a few minor nigglings here and there so this update makes it better again.

Can’t wait until they actually start putting in new cars, more events/races etc.
From 0 to 10 I am happy 7 after patch1.11. Finally the good Kaz increase events and rewards and we can buy more cars.
Of course they increase also the level of difficulty in some races, for example the 12 laps at Tokyo PP600. The first three cars are very fast and the rain give a lot of problems.

How about just making them comparable or and not laughably pathetic?

I'm fairly happy with it all, yeah. I want some more events, though... Slightly disappointed to find there was only 3 events outside of missions added
Get rid of requirements for drifting , snow, dirt, and rain and then you have racing game

I haven’t received anything particularly valuable from daily tickets since this update, whereas my tickets before the economy overhaul were often surprisingly generous. I know it’s still possible to receive lucrative daily tickets, but from where I stand they have become much rarer, or non-existent to be more exact. I could be experiencing bad luck, but statistically luck has a tendency of changing before it becomes a pattern. Meh.

Yes, it's still frustrating. GT7 is not pleasant experience. You expect something and you get nothing. Like titan camshaft for your safety car...
