I don't mind if this "bomb" is a $10 package just like the First Strike: CoD.

Well, dlc is good, depending on how you see it, but i think it would be rude to take charge for features that should be in game from the first beggining, for example all features, tracks etc that were in gt4 and previous games. DLC cars, well maybe, but i dont think people will be satisfied anyway, because there are so many cars that are missing from the new car dealership, that is those cars that are standards :(.

I dont mind dlc, but i hope that you can download previews of dlc material, so you can at least se other peoples cars and stuff in online racing, without owning them yourself.

Is dlc gt5 future? No it isnt, because that game isnt complete from the first beginning...

I say, put more effort on online racing mode, because that makes the game long lived, huh if gt4 would have open lobbys, people would still be playing that game, inclusive me.

Look at counter strike 1.6, oven 10 years old game, still the online community is very active, and the players increases all the time. You play the game because its fun and you have a certain freedom of what you want to do, graphics isnt everything....

Since this is basically a wish list thread, I'll bite.

What I want in the GT5 DLC
  • All missing tracks from previous tracks!
  • TEST COURSE!! I WANT MY 400M STRIP BACK!! :grumpy:
  • Bring back ALL cars from GT4, and recreate all the cars from GT2 (I'd like a Pulsar GTi-R or 323GTR to race around against the STi's & Evo's!)
  • MAKE FRONT DOWNFORCE ADJUSTABLE!! I just paid for the 🤬 spoilers, I want to set them the way I did in GT4!
  • Bring back the nitrous!! The best feature from GT4 for us drag racers was taken away for GT5!

If I got the 400m strip only, I would still be happy. Everything else is gravy to me. 👍

Good point, all cars from previous games would be nice, and some drag tracks, 1/4 mile, 1 km, 2 km etc. Not having drag racing mode or track in gt5 is bad, all other games had test course for straight line.
 
It's not hard for them to create a strip either. Have False Start Check on permanently so it gives that red/green light feeling for reaction times (to stop jumpers) and it eliminates the need to use people as "trees" because everyone ghosts at completely random times, more random than the NHRA christmas tree, that's for sure!! It could even be done at SSR7 because of the set of lights before the tunnel (on the downhill run).

Honestly, the fact this can't be implemented (and it's a simple thing to implement!) makes me wonder if Kazunori hired a bunch of retarded baboons to help him in the making of the game.

In all seriousness, I'd much rather some Standards getting converted to Premiums. This to me is more important than any new cars.

Maybe throw in 4 or 5 tracks as well.
 
I want the Test Track back, It was fun since it had the long straights and banked corners perfect for the X2010...

It's been a while since Kaz sais it was "in development" :ouch:

As for a DLC... I'd looooove to have all my Bugattis converted to premium, the R8 LMS converted to premium also... the Aston Martin DBR9 and a Lamborghini Diablo and some old tracks back...
 
I'm on the fence with this one. Some want more cars..., but I cant' help but say "seriously why do we need more cars as there are already over 1000 in this title". So taking that into consideration I'm iffy on payed DLC for cars at this point.

Then there's the issue of "unlocking" standards which then upgrades them to premiums via DLC. Again.., I can't see the logic in shelling out money to get a premium version of a car that's already in the game.., and quite honestly IMO should have been a premium at launch.

At this point.., at least IMO.., I think new tracks would make great DLC. Not only that.., possibly bringing back some of the tracks that are missing from GT5 that were in previous versions.

Currently I think the best thing PD can do is actually continue to add features via patch updates rather than focus on DLC. Considering that this title has been out for at least 7 months now, and not a single DLC pack has been released to date.., I can't help but feel PD missed the boat on this one and the ship has since sailed on it (they just simply waited too damn long).

I will not pay a penny for a Standard to Premium update. They have to do something big.
