Assuming it was not a slip of the tongue by Kaz then I cannot help but think Porsche could be in. I am in no way getting my hopes up but seeing as though Forza5 will not feature Porsche perhaps Sony / PD out bid Microsoft this time round?
Im not bothered if we do not get Porsche as GT has so much content anyyway but it would be rude to say no.
Where can I find this slip of the tongue quote?
"We mentioned it a little bit at the Silverstone announcement a few weeks ago but we want to affect more industries outside of just the game world, and we're setting up a lot of collaborations with a lot of different game companies right now, as we speak," Yamauchi reminded. "I think those are some of the most interesting things coming up for GT6."
As I've said a few times I think it's a mistake because it makes no sense.
Im not German and I feel offended by your post.... reported
Yeah I can only dream that Porsche would make its debut in the series but, I'm confused as to how you've come to the conclusion that Kaz slipped up and mentioned something that makes you think it will actually happen.
DriveClub will have Ruf so maybe we will eventually have it too.
And ... it is a Porsche.
There are more important issues GT6 needs to adress than getting Porsche into the series. The issues that plagued GT5 i.e. restricted course maker, sounds, A.I, structuring of A-Spec, online structuring etc, are more of priority.
Sometimes I think the cries for Porsche in GT are getting as bad as the baying for a livery editor. If one of those or both make it to GT, then that will be great. If neither are in, then it's not the end of the world.

People have been talking about Porsche and their lack of appearance in gt as long as a livery editor. Anyway, let's see what crumbs we get fed.
That's a fencing term I've not heard of...I still have feint hope for a livery editor.

Just one more hour to go over where I'm at. Can't wait!
I hope they give us a small preview at the new customization system, like the new wheel selection. Wheels themselves, and knowing if we will be able to select their size and off set is very important to me; more than any other custom part.
I would love to see a couple of the new "un-standards" and see what changes have been done to make them look "better." I still hate the idea of standard cars (not the cars themselves), but since I've been playing online lately and prefer to use the chase cam there, Standards are usually the only cars I use.
And I can't really think of anything else. Maybe a little insight at GT Mode.
This. 👍 And the online component, especially with the prospect of club and league creation, and the online racing series and championships... for this, you pretty much have to have a Livery Editor of some kind. Otherwise, we're stuck with the silly mess of GT5 in which people bicker over what paint chips are theirs, and who had dibs first. BLEGH.I'm just hoping that a proper livery editor will be announced. Think of how awesome online racing leagues will be.

My hope is that it's not just templates, not just basic stuff, but at the very least, what was offered in Forza 2, Ferrari Challenge and ModNation Racers, with decal / number plate / entire livery making and sharing tools. And I'm working on a post that runs along these lines...
Typotastic.
What I'd love to see is the un-PD move of Kaz standing next to a PS3 running the latest version of the game and running through several things in real time. You never really see Kaz do that, it's either 1990s slideshows or just trailers and press releases.
How long is Gamescom anyways? Couple hours usually?
1990's slideshows.![]()

Hope so3 hours long for Sony? That's perfect. Can't wait to see GT6 even more now! The info should be really good.![]()
