Soo, the real question, SF19 Honda or Toyota?

Ive actualy found a better way without the need to put a next decal to cover the mirrored bleed through and no need of flipping. This is the difference from the first post pics to my updated ones.

Cool. I figured out the mirrored bleed through method on my own but I'm curious how you do it.

What's the livery on the Toyota? I actually considered doing that specific livery for the Honda but decided to do a Marlboro (Except with decals that say "McLaren" in the Marlboro typeface) McLaren-Honda instead.

Yeah I know what you mean. I only used it because no matter which one you choose, the game always applies that generic one in the sport mode races, so I place my decals around that so they don’t overlap. Much happier with this one though.

When doing liveries I always design any custom numbers around the default Sport Mode number plate, so that the default plate either completely overlaps the custom number plate if it has to. By default I usually leave the "real" number plate off.

Yeah, an endurance race would be neat. I currently find these guys a challenging custom race at the professional setting. Could make an interesting race.

I based it on the Green Brave F4, TOM'S SF19 and one of the SF19 AI liveries.

I'm more of a Honda fan, but Toyota SF19 for the engine sound.

Not a big fan of either manufacturer, got the Toyota mostly because of how poorly Honda has performed in F1 their last two tries. Selling BAR Honda to Brawn given the performance numbers they had was pure stupidity and they were a joke with Mclaren at the last try. If Alonso can’t make you go fast you ain’t fast.

If McLaren's switch to Renault Last season is anything to go by, that looks less like a Honda Problem (Especially when the Toro Rossos were fairing far better with Honda engines). Currently this season, Red Bull are using Hondas and again, are outpacing McLaren. Just a thought.

Yeah, true but, Lando is doing alright in that Renault backed Mclaren. I find it more likely Honda is finally figuring it out than Mclaren being the cause. Like their previous attempt, it took em a few years to figure it out.

They made the steering wheel, and I believe a lot of the electronics from what I've been told.

I would have personally chosen the Toyota for the fan affinity, but I had to get the Honda just for the lucky number '11' it sports. It must be a reference to that famous Japanese formula livery that bears the same number. Guess it paid off for me as weekly Daily Race C is using only Honda engines on a Honda course.

Choose rear wing top as your decal surface but before you choose the decal change the projection method (I think) to ‘align with camera’ then move the crosshairs around to the back of the wing using R1 and the L stick (from memory). Then choose your decal and proceed as normal. You may have to tinker with ‘depth’ a bit too if it bleeds through to the top of the wing but I don’t think it does on this one. Something like that anyway,

Also if you select bonnet, you can get to the bottom of the car, right up to the bit that sticks out at the back.

It's purpose is to stop debris before it hits the driver in the face, it stops them from dying which is nice.

Yes, would have been avoided if he slowed down under yellow like he should have, but still, the way you put this comment together is rather disrespectful. Like you care more about how you seemingly dislike the presence of the halo, then the tragic death of Bianchi. Not sure if it's meant that way, just wanted to point it out in case it's sounding harsher then you intended.

Regardless, I welcome the halo and personally don't mind it's appearance. It has been proven a valuable addition to the driver's safety, which should always come first, ahead of the audience's cosmetic preference. If it wasn't Bianchi, it probably would've been another driver another time.

I imagine you learn to adapt to the halo in the way. Its purpose is so drivers don't get hit in the head by flying debris. Which it has blocked a couple times so far.

The halo wouldn't have helped Bianchi, the crane hit was so hard it looked like it had sheared off the roll-hoop, it would've saved Surtees though.

They build the wheel and a lot of the electronic systems. Most LMP2 cars use the same wheel too.

By your logic, we can call Senna a dumbass aswell because he died in an F1 crash and blame him for Imola's exclusion out of F1 calendar...

They are racing drivers, they're taking risks by driving these machines at insane speeds and pushing them (and thenselves aswell) to the max. Accidents will happen. And people are trying their best to reduce the possibility of fatality as much as possible. That's why we have huge sandtraps on the tracks, that's why halo is mandatory, that's why there are no more F1 races held at Nordschleife and so on.

Instead of bitching about someone's tragic death you should be happy that open wheel drivers at least have some head protection now besides the helmet and the rollbar. Damn

The spring and the way it his Massa were like 1 in a Million and most likely wouldn't have been stopped by the halo, similar to the freak accident that killed Justin Wilson, which the halo also wouldn't have stopped. Those however would have had a chance of being stopped by a canopy which is why those were tested. The Halo is really only for more regular chance occurrences like the case of Surtees (though stronger wheel tethers have helped this) or where the cars climb over the cockpit of another and the roll hoop may fail, or loose wheels, but this is also usually avoided via hefty fine on teams that fail to properly secure.
