I was pretty disappointed too, but they still have some good seasons left in them. It's not like last season was bad at all, they're entitled to a bad episode every now and then. Here's hoping the next one's better.

The Indiana Jones bit got old really quick as well as Cartman's Chinese impersonation.

I was cracking up the whole time. It was one of their better recent episodes IMO. My favorite part is when they were in the theater and started freaking out that aliens don't belong in Indiana Jones, then they go outside and continue freaking out, and then Butters chimes in "well it's not that bad guys".

I thought the Indiana Jones thing was pretty hilarious too. It wasn’t a classic but it’s not what I’d call bad.

I agreed with that, as thats what I was thinking when I saw the ending of the movie.

I thought the point of the indy getting raped (as well as star wars) was pretty correct, it just got old fast. The Cartman side of the episode was ok but they got no where with it, I thought it may have been a funny adventure, but it wasn't.

Season 12 was on such a run, I don't agree the show needs to end at all, this IMO was just a dud episode.

I would.

This was actually one of my favorite episodes in a long time. Cartman's china story was okay, but the Indy thing was freakin' hilarious. I totally didn't see the Indy thing coming - awesome.

The Indiana Jones/Star Wars bit was excellent. I'm glad someone called them out publicly. The cartman thing was a typical cartman storyline.

The latest episode was just great.

"Oh, that's where I put those."

And Butters after the fight started had me rolling!

That was a good'n, Much better than China Probrem. Cartman's crying is always hilarious.

Just saw Pandemic and Breast Show Ever. They were both a lot better than the Indiana Jones episode, that one was pooor.
I think Cartman crossing the line with Wendy was great but I was expecting more from her after what she did to that supply teacher all the way back in season 1.

Oh hell, now I’m curious – which episode was that? (I’ve watched every single episode of SP, but I have a hard time remembering some of the earlier stuff.)

Well don't forget all the things Cartman has done to people over the seasons!

This last episode was the first really good one for a few ones again. I liked the plots of the last ones, but they somehow felt wrong. They didn't have proper timing or the stroyline wasn't told consequently. I don't know, they just didn't feel right.

Yes, I agree. I get the same feeling from newer episodes of The Simpson's. Except with The Simpson's, the storylines just don't go anywhere. So far in the second half of season 12 the story lines are going somewhere, but... I'm not sure where and I don't know if it's a nice place to be. At least it's still giving me some laughs.

South Park is nowhere near the garbage levels that the new Simpsons episodes are at, which is nothing more than slapstick homer and bart jokes now. Such a shame too since I'd have to say the first 8 seasons are some of the greatest shows to ever grace tv. Going from watching season 4 simpsons to season whatever the hell they're on now is utterly pathetic, just cancel it alread. Sorry for the rant, it just infuriates me to see idiots ruining the legacy of my favorite show ever.

I haven't been all that impressed with the second half of this season yet, but I also have not seen any noticeable decline in South Park, which is still in its prime IMO. I really don't see them going down the same road as the Simpsons any time soon as SP has had the same writers the whole way through, unlike the simpsons whose writers now can't hold a candle to their earlier writers.

I find that the past few episodes have been great so far, especially the Pandemic 2-parter (3-parter?). Great stuff how they had Craig, of all people, be the one that can stop the guineas, not to mention how at the end of part 2 they had a pan flute version of Gary Numan's song Cars!

My dearest friend, you are so welcome. Actually, I'm currently preparing a thread (will still take time to appear though) to talk about how the Simpsons went downhill and when and why it happened.

Sorry for OT! :indiff:

South Park started to suck a few years ago, but now their back to making silly, fun episodes. A few years back, it got a little too 'preachy' for my tastes.

I also loved the Gary Newman 'Cars' song in the last episode. It's these silly little touches that make the show so much better than the last few years.

It was a great episode, I was laughing the entire time! No wonder McCain's speech about Obama was so nice...it was so McCain and Palin didn't get shafted when they get their share in the money!

Oh man the newest South Park was hilarious! I love that they made fun of High School Musical, but kept it in South Park and mainly with the students.

That is officially my #2 favorite episode of all time. It just bumped "The Crips" episode off it's position.

It's like someone read my mind in the first 15 minutes.

I love how they finally start singing and dancing at the end, and everyone just walks away! Also when Stan tries to sing earlier and everyone is just staring at him.

lol they had to do a high school musical eventually, it was a great episode, I hope Scott Malkinson becomes the new Butters. The bit where Cartman tried to kill himself with the hybrid
