And light-hearted spin off? Hardly! I get so much crap from Lutherans around me for being Catholic whenever religion is brought up as a subject! And did I ever say anything back to them? Rarely: Why? Because I don't like to argue about religions. Telling people that their religion is stupid or insulting other religions is like trying to convince somebody that 2+2=3...

My parents thought about pressing charges against the school, but instead they just took me out of it, and put me in public schools. That was one of the happiest moments in my life.

Sorry for the misunderstanding. The reason why I thought it was a "light-hearted spin off" was because there was a ton of Lutheran's who went to the Catholic school I previously went to.

And honestly, what's the difference between Catholicism and Christianity? To me, it only seems like another branch of Christianity like Pentacostal, Baptist, Presbyterian, Methodist, or Lutheran. I went to Catholic Schools for 9 years and I still can't figure out the difference..

I think it's stupid that they would even begin to think that you were selling the pills. Also, I'm quite shocked that they paddled you. I thought that was done away with a looooong time ago in Christian schools.

Yeah, well... teachers aren't the smartest people in the world.

I'm not aware if it's currently legal, or not, or if it was legal, or not, at the time of the incident, but I do know it should be illegal. If I was a teacher I wouldn't paddle a kid. I'd be afraid they'd come back to school a week or two later and shoot me.

Heh, my metalwork teacher told us privately once that if any kids give him cheek, hes gonna deck them, and he doesnt give a ****, because hes ready to tell the principal to shove the job where the sun don't shine.
