The next chapter of the Gran Turismo series was officially revealed during Sony’s presentation at Paris Games Week today! As early reports indicated, the new PlayStation 4 game will be called “Gran Turismo Sport”
Here's a GTP news story about Gran Turismo Sport on PS4.
The Gran Turismo 7 forum has been moved from the Gran Turismo Series forum to the main forum page & has been renamed Gran Turismo Sport.

next big thing
Probably not.
Gran Turismo Sport, the newly announced PlayStation 4 driving simulation from Polyphony Digital, is not Gran Turismo 7, Sony has confirmed - though Sony insists it'll be more substantial than the Prologue games that have prefaced mainline Gran Turismo games in the past.

Sony Computer Entertainment Europe's president and CEO Jim Ryan provided some clarity in the wake of Sony's conference at Paris Games Week.

"We're not announcing Gran Turismo 7 at this stage," he told Eurogamer.

"Fair to say [series director Kazunori Yamauchi] has been making these games for some considerable time now. I think it's reasonable to assume that something else might come down the road. Is it a Prologue? No, I think it'll be more than that.

I consider it is a big thing, since it will have all the sounds, graphics and physics at PS4 standard, PLUS online Championships coordinate with the FIA.

But.... something(GT7) is just going to be bigger.

I am wondering what will the other two software react to it.

In the meanwhile, have a few laughs at my expense.

I already subscribe to your channel, because I race with you. If nobody else in this thread is interested in your videos, you'd be better served by posting in here about club events & by racing with us for a full Thursday night.

I know my GT posts were slightly off topic by club terms but I thought about how the other members here are keen on GT & made them accordingly.
If nobody in here watches your videos right now, the best way to change that is by turning up all night, racing fairly & cleanly (which I know you can), & by saving the SPAM until you have everyone onside.

I will race as soon as I stop getting ten-plus hours of college work a week.

Thanks for letting me know, though.

wow... it's already thursday and tonight it's gonna be thursday-causal again..!!!:cheers:

guys, I think we've been overwhelmed by Mallet's posts on the GT-Sports and GT7, while those won't be released until sometimes in 2016......

a reminder to all of you the Japan World Tour is next Thursday!!!

so far nobody has disclosed anything about their testing except mazda....

I am wondering when did we start to have this trend about "hiding everything from everyone" in SAC????

If your next question is going to ask me about my test progress so far, check my next post. :D

I haven't done any testing. I won't make it to the event though.
If I manage to attend tonight, it will be my last Thursday night for a while. I might be able to sneak one in towards the end of November, I'm not sure yet.

it seems my internet is up and running again gentlemen :D
Long time no see
Hope see you tonight:cheers::cheers:

I'll be in for at least the start of the night tonight. I've been out playing cards (I made a profit so that's good) & drinking was involved. So I might not survive until the last race but it will be good to get on the track with you guys one last time before my upcoming hiatus.
:)

^I agree.

I apologize for bailing right when the LM55 race started. My network completely crashed and wouldn't hold a decent connection on any of the devices in the house.

Later my friend

I have plans on being there but in an unconventional car and my friend coltsjugg sounds like he will be there too.

I've just been looking at times, testing, finding out my pick is too slow and starting over. Don't worry I'm not missing this one.
