That sucks. I did think I was helping teammates around me. Specially all those times when I was being shot at and scanned pulsed just before dying to let everyone know where the rivals were .
Thanks for the heads up

It would be so OP if it told everyone, it's bad enough that anyone can use wall hacks if they want  I still haven't tried half the star cards including Scan Pulse.

Yeah. I always activated it to help my team see where the enemies are, butI guess I never noticed them attack where the highlighted people were.

(Not a double post since a considerable amount of time has passed between the last post)

Levelcapgaming is about to do his stream of the new DLC at 3:00 PM EST. Here's a link to his twitch: www.twitch.tv/levelcap

He will be showing off Hutt Contracts and the weapons of the Outer Rim along with general gameplay.

So the outer Rim DLC has NO big maps at all, only 8v8 game modes are supported. Wow I'm glad I didn't get the season pass.

They shouldn't be charging $50 for a season pass to begin with. Supposedly, the OR DLC is $15 which seems rather steep to me. Their playerbase is rather small, and it feels like they're insulting the intelligence of die-hard Star Wars fans who don't have any alternative games right now. I'm fine with the contents of the DLC, but the pricing is a turn-off.

Remember guys, these things don't come as a surprise from EA... Definitely overpriced and I doubt we'll see a reduction in the near future. I am excited for new content, but this first package better prove itself worth the money.

One thing I will say is that the DL-18 looks like a very fun weapon. I love the DH-17 for it's full-auto fire rate, but the DL-18 is a semi-auto pistol, so it will be challenging to using it.

So when I started playing I pretty much began with a K/D of .39 since it was the first time I played any FPS since Resistance Fall Of Men back in 06. Now, after reaching lvl 50 I am at 1.1 K/D which is still not great but have pretty much all the skins, cards and weapons upgraded.

I missed the stream of the new DLC on twitch, but if the season pass is worth it, then I'll keep playing. Otherwise, it's becoming kind of old. :indiff:

Some friends are telling me to get the Division. I played the BETA and it was great, but I'm not really sure if I'm into strategic 3rd person shooter games.

BTW, the DH-17 is my new favorite weapon. I cannot believe I played all this time without it! Last Friday I reached a high 53 kills and 9 deaths with it! Must have been a noobs only session

I have no idea what my K/D is, but I'm sure it's horrible. I saw two of the streams and Outer Rim looks very fun. All the maps in the DLC are CQC, so keep that in mind if you're considering buying it. The new weapons look like a ton of fun to use; in particular, the DT-12, DL-18, and Relby V-10. I love the blaster pistols like the DH-17 (Such an awesome blaster, but I just wish it could deal more damage at longer distances, because it has the range, but not the power) and SE-14C (Requires more skill because you need to make your shots count more, and it overheats faster), so I think the new pistols will suit my play style like a glove. Reading the lore about the DL-18, I was surprised that it's so prevalent and commonly used by criminals due to it's cheap price. It looks like it belongs to royal guards, or people of a wealthy family.

The Division is very bullet sponge-y, so it might not be the game for you if you don't want to dump half a magazine into a street thug charging you with a baseball bat.

The Division is much more like an RPG than a shooter, e.g. the amount of damage an enemy can take depends on their level/gear and the amount of damage you can dish out depends on your level/gear. And then there's critical chance/damage, etc. and all the talents/perks/skills and other modifiers. It looks like a shooter, but really it isn't.

I love The Division (got too many hours in it already ), but if you're looking for a FPS, look elsewhere.

We're straying off topic, but the RPG element doesn't really fit The Division because we all have an expectation for how it will play. An AK-47 shouldn't take 10 shots to kill a thug wearing a hoodie and a ski mask. Shooter games like Borderlands get away with this because it's aliens and alien technology. We don't know how their weapons would normally work.

Hence my comment: if you want a shooter, pick a game like CoD, BF or this (SW Battlefront), not The Division. Because it's being pitched as a shooter when it's really an RPG (whether one thinks it succeeds at that is food for another discussion :D).

Yeah I thought of the same thing when I played the BETA: 'How does one survive 13 shots to the head with just a hoodie?' :scared:.

But anyway, staying on topic, I saw on the DLC trailer that you will supposedly be able to customize matches. I used to love that about RFOM. If you want a shot-gun or snipers only match then it was always available.

Hoth or Jakku would be ideal for sniper matches. And I also have no problem if the new maps are small, close combat seems to be my specialty with the shock blaster or DH-17.

So i downloaded the DLC this morning and I noticed the points don't translate to currency after a match. I hope it's a small glitch but I wish DICE would fix it now :irked:

BTW, I like the new maps :D

Currently downloading the patch while my PS4 is on Rest Mode. According to some people on Reddit, the update will download faster that way.

EDIT: Oh, Reddit and their puns. Language warning. http://bit.ly/21FVX97

That's funny ^. I completed 4 Hutt contracts and I'm mostly impressed with the RELBY-V10 rifle. It's got a great zoom and fire range, although the damage isn't as great. So you better aim for those headshots!

The DL-18 is not that big of a deal. I rank it at the lowest of all the pistols. And the Rodian Blaster is good for those who are used to the DL-44. Not great on fire rate but powerfull as hell.

I kept thinking the V-10 would be the other blaster non-season pass players could have. I was very disappointed when I found out it was the DLT-19X. I don't plan on getting it, since it looks very hard to use, and it isn't a guaranteed kill at further ranges, unless you go exclusively for headshots. If you suddenly get rushed, you're out of luck, since there aren't any pistols that could protect you by multiple enemies. In battlefield, you can switch to a pistol and take out several people if you're skilled. In Battlefront, you can switch to a scout pistol and get maybe one kill if you're lucky.

Just got the DL-18 a few minutes ago. Man, is the Scout Pistol hard to use, but once you figure it out, bodies be droppin' like flies! I've never like the whole "complete this to unlock this system" especially when you have to buy a DLC for it. I've had multiple instances in Battlefront where I would buy a DLC, and then not be able to unlock a specific weapon because of fhe outlandish assignment with it. The DL-18 wasn't to horrible, just took a bit of time with the scout pistol, since it's VERY situational. The DL-18 is pretty cool, but I can't see myself using it that often. Honestly, I just like it because you can look over the gun while ADS, instead of looking down a sight.

What exactly count's as a targeting rifle? I've never known what it is, simply because the game doesn't tell you...

The T-21B was the only targetting rifle in the game before this DLC. My suggestion, use it on Walker Assault and pick a far away spot where you can just 'snipe' people with it and go back into cover. Easy assignment.

My issue is getting 15 kills with the Cycler Rifle. It's hard to kill people with one shot.

Honestly the only new weapon I like is the V10 rifle. Everything else is meh.. Even the new Scattergun is not as powerful as I thought. And we need better heroes... WHERE IS CHEWBACCA?!?

When you go into the unlocks tab and then your blasters, it will indicate the class of blaster underneath the actual name of said blaster. @OZZYGT already stated the T-21B is a targeting rifle. You'll be seeing a lot of people running that just to get their DLC gun.

I don't know how I'm going to get any kills with the Scout Pistol. I have horrible aim, and there aren't many situations where a sniper will just be sitting on a hill with complete tunnel vision and I can sneak around to get an easy kill.

Finally got 15 with the Cycler Rifle. Best thing to do is look for those sore-thumb energy shields on a 40 player game and chances are you're gonna find someone hidding still in there.

I used to consider it kind of useless too, but you get used to it after a few games. Just get into an area where you know you'll find many enemies -like people guarding a droid or uplink stations- and have it ready with you. Aim for headshots of course, but even if you don't get them in the head, the gun is deadly at close range. I got most of my kills with it on cargo and blast.

EDIT: DLT-19X = Not my style 👎. Rate is atrocious and the damage is ok... Lets say it's a faster cycle rifle. Great zoom though, it's provides a clearer view than the Pulse Cannon
