Well, I'll have a 300SL, an R8, a Cobra, an M3, a Murcielago, a McLaren F1 and a Camry. But I will just use those for TT runs and photo mode.

I will still buy a used car though, depends on how much they give us but I hope to get a Lancer or an Impreza as they can be used in rally events as well.

Either something like an '86 Supra, AE86, an RX7 FC, a 240sx or a Nissan R32 GTS-T. I remember that car being about 8k, maybe a few hundred more.

THERE WONT BE MKIV SUPRAS IN THE GAME????? oh boy

I find that extremely hard to believe and utter BS. No worries, the Supra will be in the game. Besides, most of you have already seen the JGTC model and I'm betting the license for that thing was a bit more challenging to acquire than the street model supras. Pretty damn sure the Supra MKIV will be in the game, most likely as a standard car, but it will be there.

Also, how do you merge posts? I double posted and can't figure this out.

Hmmm, first car.
The one and only Nissan SILVIA Ks(S13) '88 in that beautiful Lime Green Two Tone paint. I've used that same car from GT1 to GTPSP.

I wouldn't want to use them from the start as the low level starter cars are a huge part of the appeal of GT for me, but I certainly wouldn't object to other people wanting to use them immediately. As always in this type of situation, I think it's better to have them available and just not use them myself - where it doesn't affect the gameplay of others I think games should try to make as many people as happy as possible.

Spot on. There is nothing wrong if someone decide to "skip" the first part with fast cars, but this is not what I'm going to do.

Until I see an Official Car list released by Sony or PD that excludes it, I wouldn't count the Supra out.

Sentimental reasons?

Something like that. I 'killed' a 1993 USDM Civic Si a number of years back, and there's currently a 1993 USDM Prelude VTEC parked in the garage. :O

BTW, I adore your tagline:

I can hear Clarkson saying it.

Hahah, thanks. I 'borrowed' it from some YouTube poster who made the comment on one of Stig's power laps.

It really depends on whats in the used car lot for what price. I mean, given this day and age, I would imagine that cars that were listed as new in GT4 may very well be listed as used in GT5.

A small euro hatch. MINI or Ford Focus maybe?Depends on prices and how much we have.

I'm sure GTLife cars will be for online, it'll be stupid if 5 year olds are flying around in X1's.

Hmm.. Perhaps you should be limited for one car for a weeks worth of game days.. Or until you've maxed out that car in terms of tuning options.. And if only that car would be Fiat 500.. :trouble: It would teach patience for everyone

Subaru 360, Model T, Mercedes Motor Carriage, 2CV, Daihatsu Midget '63, one of the older Fiat 500's or a Mazda Carol Deluxe, whichever of these is available from the off.

Because I'm an Italian car lover, I'll try and start with an Alfa Romeo. Probably it'll be the 147 that's affordable. It's not the best one but in the early stages it doesn't really matter that much as the AI isn't driving at it's fastest so you can easily make up for that.
