It's interesting , most of you choose the same car whenever at a new GT game comes out. I myself will be driving a 5 turbo or an s1 elsise.

Probably because we felt a connection to those cars as we first started driving them in previous GT games, these first cars were our first step to making big fortunes and owning nice shiny exotics ;)

Ah, but do you eventually get rid of the car?

For moi, give me back my....

1986 Toyota MR2 G-Limited 1600 Supercharger. My first GT2 and GT4 car better make a return, it is my beloved MR, maybe not the most fun but get it in GT2 and control that oversteer, or have a nice Eighties flashback in GT4.

If you have ever gone to school they teach you to use capital letters at the beginning of sentences, and capitalize "I" when speaking about yourself.

wow, are u guys serious? screw this ill just stick to other sites.. ive never seen this garbage on a forum before! I'm also gonna make sure to tell people that need gt info to stay away from these forums, because the people are ridiculous/rude. Ill type the way id like to type, as long as its clean i see no problem. You might wanna moderate all the other threads in this forum because each one has lowercase letters where they arent supposed to be. adios!

Calm yourself. It takes one held button on a keyboard to change a letter. I had to respond cause this was clear offensive. I'm going to get my little baby mod hat on and say the reason why we have people talk correctly (like this post) is because GTPlanet is a respectable forum compared to even the ones organized by Sony and GT. Just because text talk isn't allowed doesn't mean leave, it just means type like a normal person. I'm going to suggest you're a younger member who writes like texts, I'm 14, I post this way, I don't have a problem, neither should you.

I'm 13, I talk like this on MSN, Facebook chat, and I don't see a problem with capitalising my 'I', or simple pressing 'Shift' to make a capital letter. No offence to anyone, but that isn't proper English, which most people (thinking logically) would assume you had not been taught properly, or had an education at all. I wouldn't.

look, the most commonly accepted online typing etiquette is that as long as the majority of the community can clearly understand what your message is, then it shouldn't matter.

LOL, actually, there are a few BC forum goers. Also, before we get off topic, I'm really excited about Canucks this year

Kids these days. Always getting worked up over little things such as the one above.:yuck:

Okay.

Don't be so judgemental, might help with the way you come across as a person.

Not intending to be pedantic, or play the mod wannabe, but as you've agreed with the AUP by joining the forums, you should know that proper usage of english language is required in these forums. That makes the posts clearer and better to read, as well as more understandable for non native speakers, like me. ;)

Concerning the starting car in the game, I'm probably going with any good deal I can dig in the used car lot, I'm used to get Supras or even R32s in previous games, but this time I want to make things a little bit different ;), you know, new game new life.

I think at this point, it is very hard to tell what starting car I will get, but most likely a Miata, or maybe some sort of mustang. I can't stand the FF (not really a sport car layout:)

Uhh you asked a question and I answered it 💡, wasn't meant to offend you. It wasn't me that had an issue with your punctuation, it was a Mod of the site, I was just answering your question on what he meant. So because the Mod wanted you to follow the rules of the site people are now "ridiculous/rude"? By the way what you call "garbage" is why I like this site, it's professional and not filled with l33t talk and little kid style txt speak.

I'm guessing you will have the choice between some standards and some premiums for a starting car?

I wouldn't see why not. Depends which cars are Premium and which cars are Standard.

For me, it doesn't make a difference whether a car is standard or premium, I'm going to buy the best car for my money period. (thats double period:grumpy:)

Will definitely try to find and buy a first-gen North American Ford Focus, as my parents own one and we've had it for 6 years now. I don't have my license yet, but I've been practicing in the trusty Focus, and while I have no feel for cars, I quite like the way it drives, and I've heard some good things about it. Hopefully it'll be fun to thrash around a bit.

Hopefully more like they do in japan and less how they do in the US. My GF just came back from Japan a few hours ago and when she heard a civic with an exhaust, she asked why it sounded like **** when the ones in Japan all sounded nice.
Not sure how it makes any sense but I guess people there care if their car sounds good as opposed to the majority here who think bigger tip=more power.

The classic coffee can exhaust! I agree, also I think they will be since its a Japanese gaming company.

Isn't US cars one of the most clean emission cars in the world while Japan has less regulations for emission?

Apparently US vehicles pollute 2x as much as cars in japan so I'm not sure.

I was just watching a video on car news, and about a week ago they said US has one of the most strict laws on the emissions. But you might be right.

I think safety regulations yes, but CO2 emissions we are way behind europe who is just behind japan.
When every other vehicle is either a giant truck or an SUV, it's not really a surprise.

I can vouch for California having pretty strict laws for emissions, can't say for other states...

I live in PA, all cars I have seen have California regulated emissions.

And Dave you are right, EU is first later comes Japan. But USA pass the law to change everything for more MPGs.

Either way sorry for offtopic

Here's a question I haven't seen. Will the chrome cars form the collectors edition be in the garage once we start the game or will we just have the availability to buy them?
