you've done the white section extremely well, but I would like to see more work done on the light - that things stands out too much
👍

Yeah, you're right.. The white section is well done, but the front light needs more work 👍 Nonetheless this is an awesome update! :)

Thanks Guys. I'll take a look at the light and get back to you with what I've got. I actually never touched the light or the back end of the car.

The Red highlights the area which I did clean up. I really should of done the rest but I was getting abit bored.

Okay here is my new version. I'm not really sure what to do with the lights, mabye the angle is just working against me aswell. I cleaned up the rest of the car this time.

and another cleaned shot. I think this is going to be made into another banner for the first page.

with the lights, try dodging and burning sections that or light or darka bit. it tends ot give a more 3d compared to "painted on" look.

the dark lines could use a lot more darkness i think, because in real life, if you look at it from that focal point, they will be darker than what you have in the picture, but i could be wrong. also, the edges could be a bit more rounded, and the lower part of the bumper evened out, specially in the part where it looks like it hit a curb facing forward. the side profile is good, specially the depth of field and the exposure on the car and the background makes the subject stand out. only again it was let down by the harsh abberration on the rear spoiler area, and the lines on the car. try using the smudge tool at a low opacity next time to easily get rid of these problems. not a bad effort altogether i must say. keep at it!

Thanks Guys. I'll keep your advice in mind Tupac and jdga9rs next time I do a clean up.

I'm interested to hear what time of day you make this to be.

The shot looks great with great lighting and composition - but I'm confused:dunce:

👍

To be honest I don't know what time I was going for, I don't think that crossed my mind.

Now that I've entered this into the Photomode Comp week 103 I may aswell display it here.

Awesome! It might look better if the car was the red version, though, to provide more contrast from the sand.

I'm 110% with you on that. I wish I have the Red version but it was a downloaded game save because I couldn't be bothered to transfer mine from my memory card onto my PS3 or start the game again. I just wanted to get on with photomode

These shots are awesome, I love the green touch on this one and the car looks even sharper with that blurred background 👍

R8 at Sarthe Full Set!

Comments if your feelin?.

-- Next project Amuse Carbon R - Undecided Location, any suggestions --

Ooh, the Audi looks nice. First shot's my favorite. For the CarbonR how about Suzuka or maybe Seoul?

To be honest I don't know what time I was going for, I don't think that crossed my mind.

*snip*

I don't consider it part of any criteria for a good shot or anything, just that the shot looks half night half day - that's all 👍 :)

Wow nice R8. I love the one you decided to submit to a comp. I actually like the yellow. I think it fits in with the surrounding colors, I love having a family of color with a bright accent(from that family).👍

How did I miss these?! That Skyline shot looks like something out of a magazine shoot, the leaves and the sparks are in perfect harmony, you've really captured a stunning moment there!

Regarding the 2nd one, it really conveys a lot of emotion to me. It evokes feelings of a racer driving down the road on his own into the dark, nothing but him and the car together on that lonely road. Images like this that manage to make you think of a scene in your head are very hard to come by and they make for wonderful viewing 👍

Thanks alot guys I've been wondering when you'd drop by. I think I will stick to that style as in my own eyes it is my most effective, I'll try for some more tommorow mabye. Hopefully CarbonR stuff.

I don't know how I missed that skyline either. But my lord...that capture is something else. Great great job Sweetshop. As for the R8.. I have no words...but WOW. You have skill and you better keep it up. 👍

Wow thanks alot guys! 👍

I'll try get some pics with the CarbonR today, mabye have an update in the next few days.
