I hope it doesn't suck as much as your grammar!

Some of the sounds in the game are quite good too! Shame the Gallardo doesn't really sound like it does in real life. But there's 4 months until the release of the game yet.

Oh damnit, now my Xbox360 is showing connection failure everytime I try to download TDU.

Any ideas people, it seems to be signing into Xbox Live fine.....

So the demo timer means you can only play for so long per session? I hate that :(

It's not like being able to play the demo for an unlimited amount of time is going to cut into their sales

I'll give my own small review after I have finished this video. So far I am really enjoying the game and in HD this game looks stunning, everything reflects as should be in the world, cars reflect each other, the citizen AI cars are fairly intelligent and try to avoid you when you're racing as well as stopped in the middle of the road, in fact they brake hard, indicate and pull out past you.

The living world is represented by the sounds of birds, planes, cars and of course the sea. The gentle breeze makes the trees sway and the telephone wires move. It's quite relaxed to be honest.

Anyway save that for the review and I'll hopefully get some vids up for you.

So far though, very enjoyable game.

Its a bit annoying there is a demo timer in the demo. But the game feels more real, since you have to use strength to turn. And to find the dealership go to your GPS map, that shows the map.

Press right top button, once you see the lambo logo press on it. And your go right there.

Here the video.

The game is a slow as my video. When you play it's really 15fps. You'll notice that TDU have less Shadow Mapping than PGR3 & feel less animated. it's more a free roam game. It is almost unplayable manual. You hardly know which gear you're on & it don't let you shift as you please(Cannot jump fast to gear 1st to 3rd). You see that I'm reving badly on neutral. it really piss me off. There's a lot of frame drop & play like all the other Test Drive.

Thanks for posting the video. That really does look like a fun game. It looks realistic how you just drive around like that. Its almost like you have the freedom of Grand theft auto!!!! The GT500 sounded nice. I also like how you can open the doors and look into the cars in the garage. Thats a nice little treat to have. Looks like a very promising game. Can you drive off into the grass or anywhere you want? Will it teleport you back automatically or can you free roam a little like GTA?

The demo apparently has barriers, but yes, you can drive offroad.

So would you say it has a similar free roam experience like GTA? How is the online play. Not a single person has talked about the online experince yet. :dunce:

I think their servers are still down, but I haven't checked recently though.

Id say it has nearly the freedom of GTA. :) There is barriers if you go off road too far (and when you reach the limits of the demo's roads, of course.).

You roam around the track & you start to see people around. It look similar to NFSU2

I'm in the process of uploading the first 15mins I had of messing about with the game, the vid shows the intro, the garage, each car and then a test drive of each car, including a solo race and a police chase.

Size is fairly large at 233Mb but it's worth a download I assure you !

I'll post the link soon, in fact 45mins soon. :dopey:

Thanks Camaro, appreciate it. Anyway here you go guys, the first 15mins of TDU demo including a test drive of all the cars, messing around with them and also a race. No police chase in this one, got mixed up with another video I captured later.

Enjoy !!

Easiest method is download a program called Media Player Classic, or if you like WMP go here ..........*searches for codec download* .........................................*hold music* .................................. ah here we go: http://www.xvidmovies.com/codec/

I guess you got to try to download the video yourself to see if it work. I tried the codec & it still doesn't work.

My impression from the demo :
- I have a normal TV, there are quite a few problems with Aliasing.
- The grafics are nice, but not spectacular imo, might be because of the jaggies
- The sound is really good, nothing to complain about
- The driving experience is good, a nice mix between Sim and a little Arcade
- Overall I'd say that it will be great game, sth like a 8.7/10 ( Yes I know it's only a demo ;) )
