The games only £25 for the PC, I think I'll be buying the PC version rather than the XB360 version, I can use my DFP, theres a chance that there will be custom mods for it and it's £15 cheaper off the shelf.

I was not saying to import it, just telling you that I told you more early on about the downloable Gallardo Coupe. But I have a feeling, we be able to use the Gallardo Coupe as a starting car?
 
Depends on what races are available in the beginning that allow it given there are car classes.

I'll just be using it for some beginner fun.

Or you could use it on your first online drive?

But once TDU comes out I will wait till the night before going online in this game.
 
Probably. I should have online setup by the end of August.

I'm not sure when I'll get a Gold Subscription unless OXM was wrong.
 
I've already preordered the game from EB, so should I just be able to get the free Gallardo when I pick it up or should I make it down there earlier?
 
They should have given you a slip with a code that enters you into the sweepstakes. When the game launches, you'll get an e-mail from MS that'll tell you how to get the Gallardo from the marketplace.

Where it’s not that special to the US people, since Play.com provide UK people with the same type of car as part of there pre-order deal.

You should be able to get the Gallardo in-game no matter where you are.

It's the sweepstakes that are US Residents only.

This is one of the few "must buy" games for me at the moment. Really looking forward to it. Even though it has its flaws (what doesn't) it's still looking very, very promising.

Sorry if this has been mentioned before but is the game set in daylight all the time?
 
Yep, it's always daytime, theres no night racing/driving.

I think the sun does set at times, but then it goes back to day?

Also there's nothing a little patching can sort out Slack. :sly:

However I look forward to seeing what weather effects make it into the full game McLaren.

Shame. Oh well I'm still eager to get it. Plenty of good cars in the games, though it's a shame on the lack of Porsches (EA?). And no BMW's... Nice to see the Alfa Romeo C8 Compatizione though. That's one gorgeous car!

Well if they do bring out a patch for day/night changes then that'll be pretty cool. But I doubt it'll happen.

It'll take me a while to find, but I believe Vibro said it wouldn't be too hard to do afterwards but the crew would have to discuss it.
 
I have yet to see any screens of the C3 Corvette Stingray, has anyone seen it?

Will these packs be at the same price as PGR3's? Surely if they're coming out so soon after the game is launched they could have actually been included in the game in the first place? If I remember correctly the PGR3 packs didn't come out until several months later though I guess Bizarre may have been sitting on them since the game had been completed.
Still, I don't have to download them so maybe I won't.

I too would like to see a bigger HDD for the 360. I have a mere 6GB left, though I could get rid of the demos I have. But as I don't have them on disc and I would normally keep my demos I really don't want to delete them. I don't see these TDU downloads taking up too much space though.
