I'm Pro rank now too, but I've finished for the day, I'll get an hour or two in tomorrow before I go out though. How many car delivery missions are there? I've done two, one was an Enzo and the other was a Muira, but I haven't seen any more of them anywhere I've been yet.
I think there are 30 total.

Does anyone know if theres any maps with the different evensts like thoes on them, I could do with some quick cash to buy a new house.

For some reason when I have the filters to show me everything they dont, as soon as I choose just races, or just time trials ect more pop up.

From what I've played so far, the game is pretty good. It's certainly a game I need patience with, which is a good thing unless I want instant satisfaction, like from Saints Row.

The graphics aren't the absolute best, but the huge size of the game makes up for it. :)

Edit: A little bit of a silly question, but how do you sell your cars? I bought a Jaguar XK and it isn't that good... I'd rather spend the money I earned on something else.
Go to Trade, and you can sell your car automatically there.

I'm getting that "Server is Unavailable" problems, too. Hopefully they fix that soon.

This is kind of a mixed message problem: it's bad that people can't connect, but it says loads about the popularity of the game:

Issues with CLUBS

During recent peak hours the demand on the servers reached unforeseen levels, resulting in some invitations for clubs being lost and players being unable to resend them.
We are working on increasing the server limit, as well as fixing this issue with an update. The fix will check for lost invites and allow you to re-invite a player if the invitation was permanently lost.

Connections issues (message « TDU servers unavailable »)
Players may have noticed some "TDU server unavailable" messages during peak periods. This is partly due to the number of simultaneous players growing very quickly in a short time.

We are currently tweaking our server to improve the performances, so connection issues will be greatly reduced. The extension of the server’s capacity will also help to solve these issues.

I'm so hyped up about this game. I don't have an XBOX360 (and don't plan on getting one until it's revised with HDMI), but I will be getting the PC version, and even for that I need a new PC! It may not be the last word in driving simulations, but cruising around on such a huge island....

Does anyone know when the first car pack will be out in October, because I saw some people on the GPS with downloaded car not downloaded or something?

Well, I've seen an R34 on the leader for a race and it's not up for download yet. :odd:

Anyway, what is everyone's favorite car so far? Mine is by far the Ford GT. It just sounds so badass, especially when you let off the throttle. :D I bookmarked Haiku Valley (highway through the mountains) just so I can drive my Ford GT through it. :D

At the moment I am only a million away from the DB4, so that’s the next car I am buying next in-game.

I thought of a nice feature that could be added to TDU this morning. I think you should be able to play songs through the stereo of the car direct from thr Xbox 360 hard drive. I haven't listened to the radio yet in car but I'm guessing that it would be repitive over time.

Yes there are a few people out there with the downloaded cars. The people that went through play.com or some site like that already have the DL cars.
I guess Diablo (_aj) from this site has the Skyline R34. I took and posted about 38 pictures last night. We were waiting for him to show up with the Skyline but never had a chance to see it. My favorite car is my orange Mclaren like you see in several of these pics. https://www.gtplanet.net/forum/showthread.php?t=86224
The best sounding cars are all the muscle cars but there are quite a few really nice sounding cars.

You aren't able to see it anyway as you haven't downloaded it, you would see a brightly coloured Audi with a stripe down it's centre. lol

Here's my Skyline for proof though.

Pre-ordered the game somewhere where you got it as a special offer I presume just like some of the other cars some people have.

The really weird thing is the Skyline R34 and RS4 is not meant to be out until early next week.

It was free when pre ordered from Amazon or Play I think. It's also being released next week on the market place for free.

I just raced some guy in his Z06 against me in my Sagaris, he picked the course and he picked one with loads of straights, I hammered him. Absolutely spanked his ass, and I crashed, I wrapped around a lamp post on a corner I misjudged and still hammered him. He didn't accept a re-match . I was expecting it to be a hard race because the Z06 is pretty quick, a good top speed ect, but right from the start I just left him behind like he was in a car that's a class below me.

Thats the beauty of this game. Every race will be different and you never know who will win since there is traffic and you can pick a different track layout with every race. Also some cars will just sit at the starting line and fry the tires if the driver doesnt know how to launch. You really never know what you will get with each race. One wrong move and pow you could be done. I am still blown away with how much this game has to offer and do. Also the graphics are real impressive when you consider how huge this island is and you can drive to any part of the island that you see in any pics.

I love that fact that there is no loading time between different parts of the island.

One problem I do have is youi can't see the cars coming towards you until they're sometimes less than a second away whwen your going fast, they should have done somthing to like have a headlight image in the distance to show that a car is coming before the actuial car model is rendered because sometimes it really ruins your run when your speeding along then a few hundered yards infront a car appears and half a second later bam. That's my biggest gripe, the cars pop up a bit close sometimes for when your going fast. Overall I'm enjoying this game a lot, but sometimes I'm not enjoying having to search for every little thing to find it, I guess that's mainly because I don't dedicate much time to the games consoles though.

I've heard that if you make a playlist labeled testdrive, the music starts as soon as the game starts

If you pause the game and bring up the xbox blade thingy, you can select the music you wanna hear from your hard drive (or stream over the network from your computer) just like in any other game.

I just discovered this yesterday but if you have a playlist with "testdrive" in it's name then it will be selectable in the radio under the "U" station for "User". No blade setup or nothing, plus pushing right twice quickly will even switch the song playing.

Great addition.
