Yep. This game is addictive no doubt about it. I'm on it as soon as I get home from work. My girlfriend hasn't been too impressed. Oh well.

I've just won an expert race using my Gallardo with sport aid on, so I'm not so inclined to moan about it now! £150,000 allowed me to trade a four-car garage apartment for a house with 6 spaces and a swimming pool. Very nice island this.

I definitely know what people mean about addicted. It's lucky that I got Dead Rising a day early, because it hasn't been played since I got this game. For me it is the first must own 360 title. PGR3 was great but limited and Oblivion is just too much of a slog to be really fun.

What is it with the delivery missions and transporter missions dissapearing from the map? I was looking for transporter missions for ages and I happened upon two just by driving around. They're my favourite mission, because just like in real life, you have to plan your overtakes before you pull out. The last two I've just done afforded me a custom painted Gallardo Spyder. These missions are a god-send.

I've noticed this - It is the class of car you are in - For example, I have seen some icons on the road infront of me that aren't on the map when I push left on the D-Pad, I thought OOOhhh I've found a secret, but no its just locked due to the car grouping.

I'm getting ready for the millionare challenge in the morning, its the ONLY race left on the map. I think I've got some more of the hitch, courier and delivery ones to do but Im done on the speed and race sections.

I did that today, it pissed me off, the gold time is 1 hour, you win 1 million credits for getting gold, I got 1hr and 20 seconds :ouch:, I got caught off guard a few times, got caught by the police a few times and threw it away near the end stupidly. I'll try again, but I don'tknow how people are getting 44 mins, ok I do, I'm not tat consitent . 20 bleedin seconds, for second place you only win 250k, I say only loosely ofcourse.

S7 TT, the car sucks at corners and gets stupidly unstable over bumps, I'm going to buy a Pagani Zonda, I'm doing a car delivery mission in one and it's fantastic to drive.

gawd, are people who didn't pre-ordered destined never to get the Macca LM because there's no referral code in my book :(

Anyway, I'm just content with the two cars I have at the moment having fun driving the roads and doing the challenges.

👍 I bought the Zonda Roadster and I love it. The sound is amazing too.

Me
Also, for anyone that preordered the game, but didn't get a chance to enter in the code to get the McLaren F1 LM or the Pagani Zonda Roadster, If you are interested, I will buy them and sell them to you at a discount price.

This is of course after the trade/sell/buy feature comes back online.

:)

Ooh, I'd be interested in that 👍, the F1 LM and Zonda roadster that is.

*cough* Kawasaki Ninja level 3 tune *cough*

I mean seriously, you can weave through traffic easily with it, it handles great, and it goes to 215 MPH in 8 seconds.

I'm not really a bike person, I don't like them at all in the real word.

I'm sorted now - I was shying away from the 2 loooong races on the left side of the island, I've done 1 and opened up the advanced level(the highest one?) So I can now earn 75K in 20 seconds !!!

I bought my orange F1 with black rear spoiler, the D/L one - Its not as good as I thought - I did the MC12 delivery mission and I think I'll be buying that one next, I loved it !

Yeah, the LM should be hitting 225Mph at most. But it doesn't. Still a great car for the Oahu Raceway.

Possibly, I really didn;t like the bike in the demo either. I might give it a go in the bike, but I'll try my Pagani first.

Okay then...

...But I reserve the right to say "You should've used the bike!!!" and flame you. :p

Flame me and I'll roast you on my buring carcass. Roast duck is a grand meal :D.

Cheers, will hope to do when I get enough!

I'm now at Champion Ranks, and own at least 20 different cars and 4 properties. I'm liking the handling from this game better and better each time I play it. Going around windy, hilly roads quickly without coming off the track is quite a challenge.

I agree with the Saleen. From the test drive I had, it was quick, but didn't handle too well (Koeingsegg was worse). The engine was so quiet I had to turn my sound up to be able to hear when to change gear. :odd:

And yeah, the Zonda is a great car. If I don't get side-tracked, that will be my next car.

I own 16 houses now, which includes one, which I won after driving on all of the roads. But these are my cars and bikes now:

I also am at the 80% mark with all the gold cup challenges done.

Thats a lot of work. COngrats. How many hours do you have total in the game? I am guessing anywhere between 60-80. I am around 50 hours total and I think mabey 60%
I am going to try and find all the roads this weekend and finish up as much as possible of the single player.
Sorry I left you last night I was unlocking roads.
I have 15 houses and over 55 cars.

I've found a doozy of a race to keep doing. The Branchu Loop race; no traffic, 2'25 for gold, $25,000 a pop and a lovely short, curvy track. $100,000 easy in 10 minutes or so.

I had a weird hitch last night. I had a yellow F430 Spider with blue interior, but I didn't like the orangey hint to the yellow. I took it to the car paint shop and switched around, settling on Black with red interior. I didn't have enough money so I quit out and re-emerged on the road. My car was now the same yellow, but with the red interior, not offered in the Ferrari shop. I took a picture, but it didn't appeal, so when I had the money, I got it in Black with Red. Then it came out with Black/Grey, Black/Grey again (fng!!! Cost me $16k) and finally third time, I just selected and quit and it ended up with what I paid for twice. Very odd....

I'm on Expert level and can't get a tuner shop for American cars (I have a basic C6 and Camaro), any ideas how to get them?

I race in a speed race, which gives you 2 million credits for racing it over and over again in 10 minutes. But each attempt in the 10 minute time frame takes 12 seconds.
