If you press right on the d-pad in the first demo it brings up the map?Don't worry i'll just play the second demo:D
 
How come they got rid of the big cloud of smoke or whatever flying out of the exhoust on startup.I loved watching that on the first demo lol.

Maybe it's not realistic? (I don't know, that's just my guess).

A sub-forum is something you folks will have to talk to Jordan/Duke/Der Alta about. But perhaps asking after the game is out will be a better time. There's still a little over a week for all of us til' the release.:)
 
^But its not exactly a sim?I am glad they got rid of that bloody anoying camera shake when the revs get higher though.
 
We don't have a PGR3 sub-forum, and that has several threads floating around at the moment. I seriously doubt this game will have its own sub-forum unless it REALLY takes off, which I doubt.
 
Downloading the demo now. Today turned out pretty sweet. Connected to Live!, and got a new keyboard (Logitech G15 ;) ).

I'm not on Gold yet right now, just a Silver member. I'll release my GT when I have gold acquired. I'm going to spend a few days just exploring the system for now.

Nothing against anyone, just a personal thing I'd like to do first.:)

You should get a month free of gold service, when creating a silver account.

That's just one of reasons I'm not buying it for the XB360, it's £25 on the PC.

True, but you'd have to have a great PC to get it's full potential, and you'd be using a computer chair, small monitor, and headphones compared to a good sized HDTV, couch, and surround sound system.

But hey, it depends on what you have. If I had a normal TV and crappy couch, and I had an excellent PC, I would probably buy the PC version.

Nope I'll be playing it on my surround sound system, and my DFP on my LCD monitor or when I'm feeling fancy or have anyone round, I'll be using my digital projector to display it on a 2 meter wide screen.

All from my couch as well :sly:.

Think of it... I bet there will be a lot of youngster playing TDU. The game won't be expensive for a driving game & free roam = no skill required.

By the way, what was that story about that kid?

I am extremely impressed by the game. However, what's with all the idiots going the wrong way trying to run into you? And is there anyone besides us and a couple others who know what the brake is?
 
I had a blast a couple nights ago running down the main highway with two other F430s. Actually went over 200mph from drafting. I've tried the bike some more, but the semi-digital handling is ridiculous. Such a shame, I can only hope they have changed that since the demo was made.

As for the idiots and the braking-inept, they're probably people who are trying to screw with you, and/or they're 9-year-olds being plain stupid.
 
Yeah, somebody who was new to this demo asked me if I wanted to go run people off the road earlier...That was after he addressed me as "homo" and I owned him on a highway run.

No, I'm still a Silver. I still have my free 1 Gold month deal though I'll be waiting to use it after the release.
 
And then you'll become a Gold member?

Are you still up for creating the GTP club? If we are only allowed 16 drivers we may end up with a few clubs really.
 
Put the bike in hypersport mode...makes it ALOT esier to control.I also find the in-helmet view easeir.
 
That doesn't mask the fact that the bike still doesn't lean with motion...it just snaps to a lean. I can control it fine apart from the snapping camera.
 
I like the idea that someone can send you a challenge. If you accept it, you can see that person making a course you will race on. :) Very interesting. I've just got to find out how on earth that person managed to send me an invitation...

When I try the demo, it's the first thing I think about, cause the engine is so poor. :lol:
