Is anybody else having trouble with their 360 after the new downloads? Mine won't stop freezing. I think I'm going to have to send this one back to MS as well. Figures, I'm gonna be well behind you guys.

I could'nt download the Free Launch Pack (RS4 and Skyline GTR). I kept getting error messages. I think there's some serious issues with either their servers or the game. Not good in my book.

There is a CUSTOM paint shop towards the bottom of the island. If you look on your GPS you will see an area thats basically a crater. Its a big circle on your map. THere is a race called "around the crater" or something like that. When you finish that race you can get into that custom paint shop and paint your car any color you want. 👍

I would like to check that out some time. I have been spending most of my time getting the achievements and getting through the single player. I need to start spending some time checking out the scenery. It would be fun to drive around with some friends to check out all the hot spots.
I have hardly spent any time at all doing the multiplayer races. Actually I havent tried any yet. Just a few instant challenges here and there. Once I get most of the single player finished I will be racing online more.

I havn't done a single multiplayer race. All I've done is drive around, do single player missions, and get the achievements. Last night when I became champion rank, I drove down to the Oahu Raceway and found a group of guys there and we drifted around the track for about 2 hours. 👍

The code for the d/l car is out from GAME, just in case anyone here bought theirs from GAME and is waiting for it.

I am loving this game - Looking forward to doing some club races with you guys.

I too have found myself just doing the single player missions and getting my achievements up - I have only done a couple of multiplayer races.

Question - When you instant challenge someone, at the top of the screen there is a "stake" section. The question is how do I actually race on-line for in-game credits ?

Go to your garage and somewhere in the options you can set the amount of money you race for in the instant challenges. I set mine at $1,000 and have raced mabey 7 times. I won 5 times and got that achievement.
You might even just try hitting start anywhere in freeroam and it might allow you to change it there.

Or the MV Agusta Tamburini. The #1 fastest time is just barely over 45 minutes in a fully modded Tamburini.

I havn't done a single multiplayer race. All I've done is drive around, do single player missions, and get the achievements.

That's what I've been doing. I did send GJB93 an Instant Challenge, but that's all I've attempted to do online (he didn't accept ). I should be pretty near Champion Rank now, also.

I own 3 properties and 10 cars (a Koiensegg included. It's nuts...), with 24% game completion.

Edit: Oh, by the way, I went to jail once for running out of money to pay the Police. It was an extremely hefty fine of over $50,000!

Again, car sounds suck even more with the supercars. The Koiensegg is MUCH quieter than an Alfa Romeo GTA... And they don't sound realistic. Only the American V8s and older cars sound decent so far.

Unforunately yes. However, there is an Amateur race with the F1 (or any car), that you have to average 120Mph for like 2'15".

Audi TT, TVR Sagaris, V8 Vantage and Golf R32 in Laguna Seca Blue (M3)

Mustang Convertible in mid blue metallic

CLS55 AMG in yellow

I was annoyed Ferrari wouldn't allow custom colours. I wanted yellow with red interior... boooooo! So I sprayed it a standard colour from Grigio Titanio (grey) to Giallo Modena (yellow) which has a blue interior, so looks nice.

I was playing with a guy who had a Gallardo SE in my stage 3 CLS. I had the edge in acceleration, but top speed was a completely different story. Too bad that the M-Bs have to be so slow. I outcornered him until he overcooked it with oversteer through a hard right.

I'm sorted now - I was shying away from the 2 loooong races on the left side of the island, I've done 1 and opened up the advanced level(the highest one?) So I can now earn 75K in 20 seconds !!!

I bought my orange F1 with black rear spoiler, the D/L one - Its not as good as I thought - I did the MC12 delivery mission and I think I'll be buying that one next, I loved it !

HELP ME!!!! I CANT STOP PLAYING THIS GAME!
This is the only game so far that has survived for 7 straight days in my xbox360 without hitting the eject button. Heather and I have both been playing this game since it came out last wednesday. (7 days ago)
I have played just about any racing game ranging from GT2, GT3, GT4 to Forza, Kaido Battle 2, all the NFS series, LFS, Toca 2, Toca 3, and PGR3. Now Test drive Unlimited. Out of all the race car games.....Test Drive Unlimited is by far one of the best racing games I have ever played. Buy it and you wont regret it. Yes this game is that good. My girlfriend is just as addicted to this game as I am. Luckily we both have a copy and our own Xbox360's. They completely opened a new genre for racing games with TDU. I LOVE THIS GAME!!!👍 👍 👍

What is it with the delivery missions and transporter missions dissapearing from the map? I was looking for transporter missions for ages and I happened upon two just by driving around. They're my favourite mission, because just like in real life, you have to plan your overtakes before you pull out. The last two I've just done afforded me a custom painted Gallardo Spyder. These missions are a god-send.

I think the only reason they would disappear from your map is if you switched to a different car class than what is required for that event. You can change your filters to locate only those events. Actually you can change your filters to do anything you want and locate anything you want.
The more you drive around the more things will unlock for you to do like the models, car deliveries, and hitch hikers.

Trying to do some of the twisty average spped missions and having the car spin out so easily right before the camera is a nuisance you wouldn't get in PGR3. The cars seem to be poor to drive on this game, which is a pity, because every other aspect is spot on.

Oh well, I guess I'll have to stick the driving aid on. *groans*

Every car has its own personality. For example you cant take a Saleen s7 on the twisty roads and expect good results. I really like how all the cars are different. Yes some handle poor but others handle real well. No complaints about the handling from me. 👍

I agree. I've played this game for a little over 50 hours since release day!
