As you may know, I'm the new guy 'round here. I need help finding a proper drift car so that I can actually keep up with you guys. Do you have any suggestions for cars and tunes I should use?

The '07 M3 is a beast. Standard or fully modified, it is a legendary car. I also found the '07 'Stang and any 86 Toyota (model, not year) are very good.
 
Alright, Im about to open up a room and hit up Fuji F and just do a few runs if anyones up to join.
 
Yeeeeaaaaaaaa!!!!!!! New update wil let us change wheels on standards!
 
Of course, a new GTR. (Mind you, I dont mind this one) Pretty happy about the Scirrocco and the Golf. Update looks good 👍
 
Changing standard wheels is long overdue. GT4 let you change wheels but for some reason they "forgot" it in GT5. The 86 is what I'm looking forward to, and many others
 
At least PD have only got 7 GTR variants now unlike what they did with the skylines (40 overall skylines!)
 
True that, anyone up for a session tomorrow?

I may have to go back to a controller for a night, or I can try to buy a USB extension cord this afternoon.

I've been pretty busy with all the H2H stuff lately. I've tweaked the video a fair bit (i'll upload it in about an hour), made a logo and header for the website. Filled up the website with info and gadgets, done up a challonge bracket and got started on making a schedule. You guys can't see the website yet, (i'll post up the adress tommorow so you can look for errors) but i can show you the header...

Yeah I'll probably be hosting, but I won't be at my finest since I can't really set up my G25 but meh.

How do you view the battle? Do you go watch race?

I would say good job with the video but I cant view it because my internets gone slow again

Hey Mr D I found a really do drift section but I'm not sure if anyones used it before. I'll show you guys tonight.
 
if no one found it yet you should post a video of you drifting that section, so no one alse will call for it as owned already

And while i've got everyones attention, do ya think Rumble strips part of the track or not? Do ya think we should make it compulsory for people to have an account on the site or do ya think we should let GTP members sign up on the thread i'll eventually set up here?

I think i'm ready for you guys to look over the site, i'm not quite happy with it yet but it's looking pretty cool :)

For me I do think that the rumble strip is a part of the track, lets you get closer to clipping points.

As for the site, whatever keeps it easiest bro 👍
