Interesting.

Why do you think you associate honesty with poor? Wouldn't you be more likely to hear the truth from someone who can't gain anything from you? Wouldn't you be more likely to hear lies from someone who has nothing to lose?

Surely it's tempting to lie for wealth.

In the majority of my experiences with people, I seem to get more honesty from the poor than the more wealthy. This is not a generalised statement as such for all people of those categories, but it's an association that my personalised experiences have made.

Though I can make arguments against your statements, that's for another forum. ;)

the idea that the rich lie more isnt all that bad. if we are talking the bussiness world then sure, the most sucessfull of them would certainly have a gifted tongue.

Hard - Relationships
Rich - An Excuse
Poor - Rich
No - Why?

My experience has been largely the other way. Most poor people I know lie habitually, and most rich people I know are quite honest. Perhaps one of us is seeing what we want to see.

or it may just be that social class does not determin weather or not a person is a liar but rather it depends on the persons attitude. some poor people have good attitudes because of one thing or another and so do rich people but there are also more negitive people in the world that will go against this.
