Please tell me we're talking about the tight roper & not the hotel that was just posted a few pages back....

What? That actually looks real :odd:

Do you know if it really is? And where it's from?

I did mention that building a couple of pages ago. It's the Marina Bay Sands resort in Singapore, look it up ;)

Yes, as said, it is real. Starts at about $200/night/person.

Now about that tight rope person... Where can I find more information?

How can they not have these pictures from Streetview?

That site is truly the weirdest collection of photos. How many sex workers does the world have and why do they all seem to be on street view. Also the Rod Stewert fan club made me chuckle.

^ wow!

Tinted orange by the morning sun, a soaring dune is the backdrop for the hulks of camel thorn trees in Namib-Naukluft Park.

Taken two months ago over Jökulsárlón, the largest glacial lake in Iceland. The photographer combined six exposures to capture not only two green auroral rings, but their reflections off the serene lake. Visible in the distant background sky is the band of our Milky Way Galaxy, the Pleiades open clusters of stars, and the Andromeda galaxy. A powerful coronal mass ejection from the Sun caused auroras to be seen as far south as Wisconsin, USA. As the Sun progresses toward solar maximum in the next few years, many more spectacular images of aurora are expected.

The first doesn't look real, for me atleast:boggled:

That second one is amazing:drool:

Those guys in the wetsuits are brilliant 👍

It turns out that the image of those guys camping on the face of a cliff was taken on Baffin Island, so my hunch was right :D

Here's some other images of Baffin Island:

Not single photos but a collection in a virtual tour of the National Museum of the US Air Force.

I live less than 10 minutes from there and I can tell you it's a pretty cool place. Especially with the free admission. If you're ever in the area, definitely check it out. Not all of it is US stuff, some of it's even captured stuff from the Cold War and other wars.

Very cool Wiegert. Mt Thor definitely has a Half Dome vibe about it. Those other images show it's nothing like Yosemite though.

Lava shoots from an Icelandic volcano in this dramatic image by Skarphedinn Thrainsson, who regularly risks injury from falling rocks and lava to get his pictures
