@Kurei You know when you look at a really bright light...say the sun? Your vision gets a blur for a few seconds afterwards.

Except welding mask + tinted glasses. Literally worked better than anything else, and neither I nor any of my co-workers had any sort of negative reaction afterwards.

Don't y'all get jelly I could actually watch the eclipse, rather than glance for a few seconds every now and then. :sly:

    :p

I took a pic of a blank square to sort of say, you're seeing nothing instead of me holding up fingers.

If your vision is still 20/20, congrats you have no damage & as a bonus, you got to see the eclipse.

20/20 I wish, prescription lenses thanks to a childhood of sitting too-close to the TV for Saturday morning cartoons.
No hard feelings, just didn't make sense to me initially.

EDIT* - Not 'amazing' but kinda cool, Playboy had the same idea back in '91 for the eclipse.

Wow! You can even see the turbulent air behind the spoiler and wing.

I guess that would be the heat haze and then the separation from the cooler air coming off the spoiler.

I have a picture of the haze, but it's nowhere near as cool.

I know, I know it’s not a picture but it is the coolest thing I’ve seen in a while.

Apparently Aussies, especially those in my home town of Melbourne, got one of the best views of this on the planet.

Shame it all happened while I was in the middle of my sleep :banghead:

This was the line of trucks that arrived in Prudhoe Bay.
I hoped they played convoy on the cb.

I have no doubt at all that they would've been in contact with each other on the UHF/CB.

When doing what is known as long haul, tagging into a convoy is so much safer than grinding away by yourself.

Thought this was a chop the first time I saw it, but apparently it was a stadium in Osaka that was used for a 'model home' exhibition in 1998...

Found a cool pic of this bridge on Unsplash...

Yeah, I saw numerous shots of it illuminated, but none of them portrayed the spiral effect as well as the shot I posted.

CSGO was "nearing 30 million" in mid 2017. There's probably more games missing from that list
