This was in a new Albertsons. They say it is the largest in the world. It comes with a Starbucks (of course), a bar and a small Sizzler-ish salad bar.
That's some fast work. He/she had about 5 min before it turned brown.
A blanched avocado, especially one that was perfectly ripe or even just shy of perfectly ripe, will take significantly longer to oxidize if it's very briefly blanched and then shocked in an ice bath prior to cutting. I do it whenever I know an avocado preparation (like guac) is going to be sitting out for extended periods of time, say, at a party.

Marking 50 years to the day that Apollo 11 began its mission to the Moon, the east side of the Washington Monument was adorned with a full size projection of the Saturn V rocket that carried it into orbit around the Earth.
If you told me a giant boulder was tumbling down after them, I wouldn't question it.
NASA has released more photos for the Apollo 11 50th anniversary, this time in the form of panoramas showing the various landing sites of the whole Apollo program. The link below will take you to them – they're a bit on the large size to be shown here.
The panorama below (from Apollo 17) when expanded, is still around 75-80% smaller than the original.
