TRIPLE 1 CHALLENGE IS OPEN

BMW 1 SERIES RACE MEETING

Objective: fastest time
REMEMBER NO RESTARTS

Vehicle: BMW 135i Coupe '07

Venue: national A, one make race,
BMW 1 Series Race Meeting

Tyres: as per game

Driving aids: any

Tuning: as per game, no NOZ​

Do the first six .....
After that do ONE at the time , which means :
Do the update , quit internet ,run the game to load the update and go out ...... Enable internet ..... do the update ......quit ...... disable internet ..... run the game .....quit game .... enable internet .....do next one .....quite ....and so on .
Can't fail this way that's for sure.

Did 1 update after work, turned of the internet, restarted the console and started gt6 and it gets stuck on this

I'm really pissed off with this, I'll have one more go tomorrow and if it does not work, I'm done.
Over 12 hours and a **** load of internet wasted.

The safe way is one at the time .
Am aware that you can do the first six all together ,but after that only one at the time .... Enable ...update ,stop the next one , disable ,load game ...quit ......enable internet ...upload the next one and ...life goes on.
Took me two nights to do it first time cause my internet was slow and satellite ,now is not satellite but is slow anyway :lol:

Other than that just hit some rounds on Ring for the one maker race and best i get was at 14s on free run .
Of course race is another story but ill leave it for the end when i have " warm " fingers some noon.
Perhaps tomorrow my school vid will be ready ( is but need film and uploading) for Noel.
Didn't use aids except ABS 1 , run on SH tyres and is the first run than didn't manage to win !!!!!
I didn't pass the front runner before back straight thinking that will drag me all the way ..... but unfortunately he started to vanish and wave me the flag :lol:
Of course i could run it again but i like this run , didn't touch or touched by someone and gave a good fight .

I also had to buy this car so it's stock, I raced it with only engine upgrades and Comfort Soft (Regular Blandos in Spanish) as the challenge allows.

About the lap, I was doing a very good lap until the pool section (Sector 3)... I braked a bit early so I think I lost a tenth there. The rest of the lap was very very good so I'm very happy with that. Until now I think I can only go -0.100 faster

After doing this hot laps I think your are doing something wrong...

I'll let the link of the onboard video here so you can check where improve

I decided to record it because I'm surprised I'm 4 seconds faster...

I did it on Saturday I was just waiting for the onboard video that I was uploading to YouTube.

About the NO-TUNE CHALLENGE I have to do it again because I did it as the challenge says but... I missed something... I didn't use the Courtesy Car ... I didn't touch the tune part and I don't know if you would allow me to classify with it... If not, I'll understand it.

I've been doing this for less time than many of you, but long enough to be able to reply to this thread by just typing in the actual URL.

Blind corners aren't really my specialty, I want to have a clear space ahead at that moment of putting the motor back to primary work. I remembered to put the high rpm option on it for this.

I could jest about this one needing more airbraking, but maybe that wouldn't be funny because the speedometer is going still up when the car leaves the ground. And I think that one, first braking zone of the proper lap, needs to be done on the right side of the track, for a little advantage. Afterthought: Not sure about diagonal, because you would spend resources to get to the left side while you can easily stay on the right and brake more efficiently (I had no driver assists).

No idea about best sectors, but I remember one blue figure that indicated a 1:19.3, and since I only did 59 km, it's clear to me it was met several minutes later.

You have way more speed as Saint says , heading to the Casino you are almost 10khm faster than what i had,144 vs 153 .

The best i can do is enter at 55s but nothing more than that.

Oh I think It happened to me one time. and yes... I had to install all the updates again. I think is because something in one of the updates had a error. The correct way to update is like @smoothbore12 says

I seem to be having problems with this next update, I think it's the 7th update (2GB), it says there was an issue my internet connection, I know the connection is OK.

Its a problem when internet speed is low but doing one at the time you won't loose your progress.
Send it to someone who has fast internet 💡
One way or another you're 🤬 up under these conditions but you have to try it .
Take your time and do some each day , there's no other way mate .
 
Here is my school run guys ( my second one , didn't send the first )


Sorry Hayabusa but no tune challenge was too hard to deal with it ,i played once several days ago just from curiosity ( my white run was at 1.20 plus) but i didn't touch it since.
Congratulations to all the guys that took part on this round .
As about my school run was my fifth in a row and i was a bit pissed cause at 4th hit the barrier at last turn :banghead: while i was easy at first place and the two times before that - other line up - had a collision with two BMW's and with one of them when i manage to separate them again in final turn .
I use SH tyres cause i had better feeling and try to carry ice cream on time.
