My updated entry for Mountain Masters:

2:00:441 + 1:58:998 = 3:59:439

My PS3 died. That's 2 down. So I won't be on for a while. I have to take the original one back apart to figure out why it won't take the disk. The one I have been using won't turn on. Worked fine when I shut it down.

Just so you know you came ""very very close"" to winning the first Skeag Racing School good buddy.

Oh...that's nice to know. Actually, it would be very insightful if You would give Your thesis about our entries & let us know are strengths & weaknesses which we could work on. We all knowing each other's driving abilities would bond us even closer.

I got it will do!!! Fantastic idea!!
I am asking all to tell me if it would ok with you all if I share what I say to each race driver on the HUB or in private. Need help to make sure you are all ok with me talking about your race on the open HUB? Please give me your thoughts?? Thank you. If you are all ok with this then you post the video on the HUB as that is the only way that this would work so then I can make comments and all of you see what I said by looking at the video. I would need all of you on board with this idea.

Is there one "brave soul" out there willing to race in the rain at the school or are you all practicing:bowdown:??
I've had bugger all time this round so far but I'll get on it.
The event is open for open for 4 weeks so there is still plenty of time.

I think if people are happy for you to post it publicly and go ahead,
I'm happy either way.

I am back up I think. I have to gather a number of set ups before I try and turn it back off. I unplugged all the cables, power, HDMI and Ethernet. Blew it out and just for kicks plugged all the cables back in and it came back on. So I'm writing down set ups for all the cars I used my own set ups on. I'll be busy for a while. Don't want to lose trans settings especially. I'll report back later. I may take the other one back apart and see if I can figure out why I have a disc load issue. That you be really nice.

Duh, am taking pictures of my set ups.

I raced the Pontiac in the rainmasters event designed by @skeagracing. I tried the Racing Heavy Wet tyre as well as the Racing Soft tyre. Surprisingly, the Racing Soft is the better tyre. I managed a total time of 8:45:xxx with the Racing Soft tyres. Will attempt once or twice before handing over the replay to @skeagracing.

It's actually quite fun driving around this track in the spray of fast cars!

Four years ago I talk to a Japanese guy who worked on the GT6 project and he told me that they never had time to develop the rain racing tires and he said that the racing soft tires are better in the rain than any other tire that they developed. I had just purchased the game a few months before I had this conversation with him and I told him I was having problems with the rain master and he told me to put racing soft tires and that I would win and he was right. So this once and for all proves my point so thank you so much for pointing it out.

Well good news... I'm still around!!

Yes, with the summer holidays in full swing over here, I've been hard hard at work, with barely a day to myself, even did an 11hr shift yesterday!! Finally, I have a couple days to myself..

And good work on the Bathurst challenge guys and gals!! The whole premise behind this challenge was that back in the day, I was amazed I was able to do a sub 2 minute lap round Bathurst in such an underpowered car. It was proof that handling is more important than power!!

I should have expected some of you to go a couple steps further.

I tried a setup found with Brause racing but his setup I wasn't too thrilled with after a few runs. Running on the setup that's been there with the car. Aerodynamics, setup & gear ratios are all that's important to nail. I wonder if there is any setup of this car that many have tried?
