I wont reveal my car and my strategy yet.
The only thing i can say is that am running a yellow car and less than yours 600pp.

@Racin510s for the Like the Wind challenge, won't it be tricky selecting a car which is low in PP without knowing the price of the same? As You're aware, in the garage the price is not 1 of the factors visible to choose the car. The long way is to select a low PP car & then check it's price in the dealership OR would You want us to buy cars for this event to start with?

Hawck , you can have any car you like since it cost less than 150.000 .
Then tune it to your liking to achive win using the less pp for it.
Some cars have many hp for the same pp and some others way less .
You must achive a good compination for both and since time is not a subject you need to experiment on this.
One thing is certain as i am aware ....... You can't win this at 600 pp or with fast times .
The right gearing gearing and right sleapstreaming bring the result.

Then tune it to your liking to achive win using the less pp for it.
Some cars have many hp for the same pp and some others way less .

That's crazy mate a draw!
I'm not sure if that counts, as a draw isn't a win. But I think the winner will still be a lower PP.

Pity this wasn't a closest time event.

No you can run whatever field you like there's no restriction.

Handsome its been a pleasure to race agaist you and take ( some times ) the food from your mouth .
GT can wait and i already order a new controller cause my old one kick the bucket and am playing all these days with a fake one dealing with on of situations from the buttons ( throttle-brake) ..... Must give him a run for his money.
We will meat in the future but not yet.

I put up this entry due to the bizarre finishing times. The top 4 (including myself) were slipstreaming each other to get in the front. As any car would get in the front, it would face the most drag & get slowed down but the cars behind enjoyed the slipstream & got ahead for the cycle to restart.

I'll surely try again but wanted to post a video depicting the showing of the PP & No NOS in the settings.

It's going to be really hard for anyone to win because it's just a straight track. Had it been a traditional track, we would win easy by gaining in braking zones.

I got the car; Lotus Elise 111R Race Car '04 going to give it ago 4pm my time at Laguna Seca. PP750 for the other race cars that the Lotus will run against. I will experiment and see what comes. This race car is very light.

@Uday9479 I believe @smoothbore12 gave you the best answer. The dealership shows the cost of the car and it's base PP. Once you buy all the parts that's where you end up with your PP.
