Maybe if it had "Forza" in the title lol.

The summit looks great, tomorrow im really looking forward to GTR Nismo, Honda S200 & Civiv type R events, time for some unadulterated speed yay! It's been a long slog doing the summits these last few weeks (That Jet is as haggard as the hovercraft in Crew 2 hiss!).

Also, as previously posted by (I think) @strela The custom show requires a Nissan, which means one of the playlist Challenges will finally be completed.

What hovercraft and jets have in common is that they are categories with their own handling and should not be fooled by the feel of other vehicles like boats or airplanes.

But the crucial difference is that while mastering a hovercraft requires only a quick guide and a few races, getting used to flying a jet is a lot harder...:indiff:

Understanding inertia is one thing, but mastering objectively janky controls is for a masochist; thankfully, these things are fairly rare. It was the norm back in the 8-bit era.

Having a really great time with this summit it's such a breath of fresh air to be racing, replaying the events over and over with the tunes on.

Also just a small favour to ask, If you see a Mitsubishi Eclispe Star Edition with Golden Stripe tyres, a purple No Rules Lightbar and Sparrow Competition window tint in the Custom Show, please spare a like for it. :D

Just the one though, I reckon one extra vote should keep me in the top 1000 as long as I hit the self votes at the refresh time. :P

Consensus seems to be its the..... F80!
Which means TCM is the very first game to include it and it won't be the (rumoured) cover car for FH6.

That's big news eh @Famine ;)

The summit contest this week must have few exploits Im hanging around the 5000 mark with no resetting cheese, be nice to get platinum legit we'll see.

I know the speed trap has an exploit when you need to jump from a bridge north of the main road. You can get 157k there. Other than that some are doing the events in crew getting advantage of slipstream.
In my opinion is just a hard summit. I was at 1.25 mil first but managed 1.3 mil after repeating events many times. I still can't drive the RX7 properly.
Interesting in the top 10k players there are only 1k XBox users. We are the worst. 😂
 
I know this might be too little, too late, but any chance some of you fellas could vote my car if you manage to spot it? I'd like to get platinum just for the aerotyres.

No idea what the cutoff for platinum is but I think previously that would have been enough.

I believe it will be included in the Year 2 Pass, but if it isn't, my savings for the S7 will be quickly taken by this car. I felt like I was hit with happiness, anxiety, and fear all at once.:bowdown:

I'm always looking for friends in the Custom Show and rarely get a chance to vote for them. Even sitting there for hours waiting for one of them to appear is not a guarantee. There was a week when I saw @breyzipp twice, but than I saw him maybe 4 times in 2 years. And XBox has much less players than PlayStation. If I was on PS I would have more chances to win the lottery than find an opportunity to vote for you. I'm sorry.
 
So is this monster going to be available tomorrow when you boot up or do you have to do some kind of playlist/ win the summit to get it?

Im sat on 14 million with no cars to buy and 45K prestige points hope there is something to purchase in the update. I wreckon its about time for a prestige shop refresh, sure hope so.

You might have a good few thousand waiting for you in the ubisoft connect (assuming you haven't already redeemed them), the challenges section gives cash just for playing.

Yes, prestige shop will refresh, Twich drops will also start tomorrow. And a new bike is coming too. But don't know when. Oh, and the R8 LMS GT2.

Just been watching some of the update news, weather options for photomode sounds nice, and there is going to be more dynamic races added which should keep things interesting in career mode. After the initial Ferrari playlist, in August there is an episodic playlist (every 2 weeks 2 events added) called European Luxury Cars with an attached story.
Some questionnable summit changes, a new forced sequential gears mode will be a modifier and you can use a crew in any event. Cant say the summit changes are too clever, as a solo player I should have the same performance available as folks in a crew ( its supposed to be a competition / fair ). The summit was keeping me engaged as an endgame mode, its losing appeal more and more. Why should someone with less ability win, quite hard to reconcile that one.
Overall excited for the new cars and playlist shame there is a small turd floating in the punch bowl though... lol

Watched a little bit - loving the pre race intros and the start of race 2 was interesting (no spoilers).

I finally got round to doing the Lambo summit yesterday after realising i only needed to buy the Miura in TC2 to unlock it - the races were good, but the repeated intro showing 8 cars lined up in a row over and over again was very tedious and uninspired.
Compare that with the "love" and attention to details in this Ferrari playlist.



Also, season 7 is 18 weeks, so it's another 4 months season 5+4+4+5=18.

I play solo so its a problem, im curious would you like to go into a summit disadvantaged? (Especially if there is a tidy car for the prize...)

I play solo es well and never had a problem to get platinum.
I was just wondering why it would be a new 'problem', since the usual platinum guides on youtube have often mentioned that it is better to have someone that you can use slipstreaming.

So again, what's new? Why is the summit now dead for solo players like you and me?

It'll never happen, but your post makes me think I'd love to see them add some crazy super-large displacement bikes like the Boss Hoss or Barbarian in the future.

The TC series car list include many oddballs that aren't suitable for racing, so why not have some of these weird but impactful models on the motorcycle list as well?
