Thanks for posting this. I'm getting really hyped up for this game now! One thing really impressed me though:MadmanCK from TDU drivetime flew to Lyon for a visit with the Devs and hands on game play time (10 hours) with the Crew. For lack of a better word, this game sounds simply epic. This is a must read for anyone interested in this game.

That's simply awesome! I could go on about how cool this is to me, but I'll keep it short"There are fully modeled tracks, I drove on Laguna Seca and saw others at Sebring and Indianapolis and there are probably a lot more."
I'll be getting it on PS4.So what version will you guys be picking up? One of the console's or PC?

PS4 for me. Will be playing this with guys from another forum I main for sure, but it would also be cool to play with some GTP guys too.So what version will you guys be picking up? One of the console's or PC?
The map size I think is 5000 sq km (the Oahu map was 1600 sq km or 1/3rd of the Crew) I read somewhere. That is about 1/3rd the size of the Codemasters Game, Fuel map (which is about the size of Connecticut). Also I read that it takes 90 minutes to go from one end to the other. If that is true, to drive the entire perimeter of the map, it would take at least 5 hours (90 min West East, 1 hour south north, 90 min east west, and 1 hour north south). It makes me laugh though at how the cities are so huge compared to the rest of the map.The fully modeled tracks impressed me as wellI wonder how many more there will be?
It's great to hear they are really nailing the physics, reading that part gave me a sigh of relief.
The map size sounds incredible, theyt are estimating 4 hours to drive around the whole thing, even Oahu in TDU was not that large, it took less than 2 hours at top speed to drive around the whole thing.
Or they could go full-Fuel and have barren wasteland for miles on end, along with some nice big lakes and saltpans to fill the map out.The relish will be just how well they design the world between the cities and towns. If it gives an authentic taste then anyone who idolises America and has that idealised vision of it - such as myself - will be in for a treat.
PC for me, although I don't think my laptop can handle the graphics. If I can do Need For Speed World and Trackmania Nations, then I'm pretty sure I can do The Crew.So what version will you guys be picking up? One of the console's or PC?
