Can't wait for 4th quarter of this year. Between this, DC and Project Cars im going to have to sell my PWTS (unless it becomes compatible) get a T500 and then live in my cockpit.

Eat your heart out, Need for Speed! I don't use this expression often, but that trailer (Post #158) is bad ass. Totally great-looking game which should be great fun to play. At least for this style of racing/driving games, this is a breath of fresh air from the Need for Speed titles. The game looks awesome.

Sadly, I think I know the answer to what I am about to ask.

Is there any single player aspect to this game. As I'm now on satellite internet, active multiplayer isn't an option.

I'm wondering the same too. Sometimes, you just wanna sit back and cruise through Chicago or where ever without people going 150+.

The Crew is an always online (can only be played while connected online) title, but there is solo play.

The Crew does feature a 20 hours long single-player campaign that allows players to track down and infiltrate criminal groups that roll in their exotic rides all around the in-game world.

From 2013....
Creative director Julian Gerighty explained that while connected play across The Crew’s 5000 km-squared world is encouraged, players can shut off the from the world and play the full campaign solo if they wish.

This game is amazing. My only issue is the third person camera, it looks so awkward.

The crew contains real race tracks within the map. Laguna seca, Indianapolis, Sebring, and best of all.........

Pikes peak :O

@TokoTurismo laferrari + pikes peak = *_* :D

I really hope Ubisoft pulls this one of, if they can make the game run smooth and optimize it properly with a good anti - cheating system in place, this has the potential to become of of the best games of the decade!

I could get shot by everyone for saying this, but, I hope the pikes peak is the Tarmac version........

Please don't hurt me...... :(

I hope so too, so you're not going to be the only guy who's getting shot at least :p
Lol it's because I know that the dirt version was so popular, but for me it's better paved because you can take any car up, and you can properly drive the cars rather than just constantly sliding about, also any beautiful road deserves to be tarmac'd IMO :)

Have you guys already signed up for the Closed beta? If so, how about we do something like a Cars and Coffee meet?
I think this game is really suited for this type of meeting and such, just wanted to know if some of you guys are interested in something like this?

Anyways, if you haven't signed up for the closed Beta yet, make sure to do so at http://thecrew-game.ubi.com/portal/en-US/beta/index.aspx
