The Distracting Background Cars in Media Thread

I just got back from seeing "Alexander And The Terrible, No Good, Very Bad Day" with my family, and when Alexander was about to go home from school, I saw a grey 350Z in the background. However the movie is new, so I can't find a picture.
 
I remembered seeing a Subaru Impreza (the 4 door hatchback one) lookalike in Big Hero 6 parked in front of Aunt Cass' bakery/cafe at some point..

Just noticed an aubergine making a surprise cameo in Durarara ep.25:

For me it's Porsches. Seeing a Porsche 356 crossing over the bridge at Sebring during coverage put a much bigger smile on my face than seeing a 911 GT3 take the lead.

Is it just me or that animes nowadays (that feature roads and traffic as a background/scene) have a tendency to put in some "interesting" cars?

I think it's more of a realism thing. It's quite often that 'quirky' cars such as these to pop up on Japanese roads.

Right. There's this absolutely beautiful muscle car in Xmen Days of future past but I don't know what it is.

It's in the scene where Wolverine travels back in time and first meets the Professor.
 
Maybe the most distracting background car, is that Beetle in Bullitt. We see it over and over during the Charger chase scene.

That beetle. For me it's been a game of "count the hubcaps that fall from the charger." I get too distracted by anything else. Got to eight, but my friend and I might have had too much beer. How many did it lose? Seven?

Batou has a different car in every appearance in Ghosts in the Shell, but later on he seemed to have stuck to a Stratos. Classy guy. :)
 
Watching Insomnia last night I noticed this rather minty looking '77 Camaro.
