Yea I did the fighters guild for a little bit, and the mages guild. But, the Dark Brotherhood is just a little more exciting.
Haha, what is that, some sort of history assignment?
1. You can find Shady Sam just outside of the Imperial City Walls, near the Chestnut Handy Stables. He sells lockpicks, potions, and poisons.1. Is there a good place where you can get a large number of lockpicks??
2. Also what the hell was "the sunken one" that I killed in sandstone cave, the game doesn't really give you much info about it along with those "will-o-the-wisps"
never mind about the lock picks, I have the skeleton keyAnyone know what the giant hourglass in the basement of the imperial castle does? when you use the action button it has a red mist around it for a second and then stops. I wonder what the significance of all the giant objects down there is.
I don't know if you have prior experience with RPGs, but the leveling aspect in Oblivion is somewhat different from that found in other games that I have played. To start with, the items/armor/weapons/enemies that you encounter will change (get better/stronger) as you gain levels. In order to increase your character's level, you must gain any combination of 10 skill increases among the seven major skills that you selected when you created the character. Having done so, you must go to sleep (an hour will do), and you will gain a level. At that time, you will be given an opportunity to increase some of your character's attributes.Man this game is cool. I just got my copy of it about 1 hour ago, ive just got out of the sewers. Any tip 4 a noob?
Also included in the Game of the Year edition are Knights of the Nine and the Shivering Isles expansion, adding new and unique quests and content to the already massive world of Oblivion.
well I hope they release these extras on the store separately since I'm quite happy with my old copy
Actually it is the original version that is selling so well, not the GotY Edition. That one is only around #150 or so.
And the last I read Bethesda sounded optimistic that they would be able to resolve their issues (although I have no idea what those issues were) with Sony and get Oblivion content available on the PSN soon.
is the shivering isles the only expansion in the game that we can't get or do they have the other small expansions as well?
Oblivion GotY includes the original version of the award-winning RPG, Oblivion, along with the official expansion, The Elder Scrolls® IV: Shivering Isles, and the downloadable content, The Elder Scrolls® IV: Knights of the Nine
Actually if you check out the images I attached, earlier today it was down to $20. Although it has since gone back up to $30 it is still at #1 on the best sellers list. Either way I agree that it is an excellent deal given how good the game is even without the expansions. Its only $30 now so Its a good deal even though the game is over a year old.
