Hey! Don't bash the peanuts! They're a valuble source of fibre.![]()
I'd happily be paid in peanuts if it meant I'd drive a F1 car.

Jolyon Palmer is too good for Caterham:
http://m.autosport.com/news/report.php/id/116893/palmer-rejected-caterham-f1-chance
On the other hand, Esteban Ocon, Adderly Fong and Will Stevens were all over the moon with the chance to drive a Formula 1 car.
Still think money has a bit of play here, Ricciardo was on peanuts compared to Seb, imagine Kvyat will be the same.
An opportunity is an opportunity. Right now, there are just five seats available for 2015 - two McLaren, two Caterhams, and a Toro Rosso. I don't know what Palmer is expecting, but he's not under consideration at McLaren or Toro Rosso, so if he wants in, a Caterham is his only option.Caterham's a clown show at this point, so Palmer's right to stay away. Lotterer excepted, no driver the team has employed came out of it looking good. The guys fishing for that drive are probably damaging their chances with the rest of the grid.
Maybe he wants confirmation that they'll be on the grid next season, before he commits to anything. Which I can understand. That aside we've already got one British driver on the grid who thinks he's Jesus Christ; we definitely don't need another! An opportunity is an opportunity. But they have plenty of it considering their budget for this year was around 200 million pounds so...
More likely he's in the Paul di Resta mould of a driver who has more ego than talent.Maybe he wants confirmation that they'll be on the grid next season, before he commits to anything.
I know. Hence the second part of my post...More likely he's in the Paul di Resta mould of a driver who has more ego than talent.

Red Bull probably have more access to cash then anyone on the grid. A lot questioning Riccciardos appointment this time last year but he proved everyone wrong big time.Still think money has a bit of play here, Ricciardo was on peanuts compared to Seb, imagine Kvyat will be the same.
Links man we need them
Thanks for the info and I figured this would happen, after this year no one was looking for Perez it wasn't anything like his 2012 Sauber year. After being booted by McLaren and proving to the world why McLaren was right to drop him...he wasn't going anywhere else.
Also Force India said they weren't planning on changing the line up anyways and wanted to keep their current group so, not surprising and good for both parties. I don't mind Perez on the grid especially when he makes a certain Felipe Massa cry.
Totally disagree, In fact Perez was able to outperform in points to his replacement in Mclaren and gave a podium to FI
I am amazed as how some people still think than Perez is guilty of Mclaren debacle yet, when The problem at Mclaren is not The drivers, but well, both opinions (yours and mine) are subjective at The end![]()

more to pour into development, interms of driver lineup, they are behind Merc, Ferrari, Mclaren (assuming Alonso)and possibly Williams (in my opinion). No need for that I reckon.
Redbull Have the most funded and Proven Driver program out of everyone.more to pour into development, interms of driver lineup, they are behind Merc, Ferrari, Mclaren (assuming Alonso)and possibly Williams (in my opinion). No need for that I reckon.
Pirelli were withholding tires from them before the weekend started in Singapore and they've threatened to continue withholding tires from the team for the Japanese GP.

Ricciardo was on peanuts to seb because you have a 4 time world champion on one side and a driver promoted from STR on the other side with no real notable success, Ricciardos pay rise is definitely coming.
I Think Carlos is always going to be ahead of Lynn just because F3.5 is a higher Tier series, and the way he won the Championship was similar to Sainz. Two interesting appearances at Abu Dhabi: first, Carlos Sainz Jnr. is driving the Red Bull RB10, despite Alex Lynn's stock going up in the past week. Meanwhile, Stoffel Vandoorne has been putting the awkwardly-named McLaren MP4-29H/1X1 through its paces.
This might answer your question on Lynn: http://www.autosport.com/news/report.php/id/116933Two interesting appearances at Abu Dhabi: first, Carlos Sainz Jnr. is driving the Red Bull RB10, despite Alex Lynn's stock going up in the past week. Caterham wasn't paying the bills. Why ?
Making Carlos Sainz Jr the favourite for the remaining 2015 seat alongside Max Verstappen.
