The February update discussion

I'm not anticipating a Super GT update yet as I imagine it would need the Gr.2 class to be introduced (as mentioned previously).

I wouldn't think PD would release a bunch of Super GT cars and relegate them to single car daily events. They need that official Gr.2 badging and to be fully integrated into the online modes.

Though I generally want more race cars, I'd love to have the Alfa Romeo Tipo-33 Stradale in GTS.

New cars and a track is cool. I just want PD to move the "Hey idiot you need to refuel in this amount of laps <3" more towards the top or bottom. I primarily use chase cam, and it's annoying that it blocks off the view of upcoming turns.

I wouldn't mind some of the on-screen alerts moving to audible alerts. Maybe a beep for fuel, or what if we even had a pit chief radioing information to us? "You've got less than a lap of fuel left, time to bring it in." That would increase immersion and also get rid of some of the clutter on the HUD. I honestly find it hard to quickly scan some of the text info on the screen. And they did all that work animating the pit crew, but they just feel generic and abstract instead of your real crew. Let's make it feel more like you're on a real racing team.

I knew the NSX will come sooner or later.

Always loved these 90's NSX, i never saw one in the real life but if i had the money to buy between this or GTR, RX7, Supra, 3000GT and such, i would pick this one easily.

EDIT: Not sure why i got likes but thanks guys.
dude how can you put the 3000GT in the same vain as the NSX, Supra RX7 and GTR.?

And what's wrong with putting GTO's among other 90's Japanese cars? Especially when talking about Gran Turismo?

I know 3000GT is the forgotten and not so fast of the group but still.

Nice attitude you showing there.
I'm just not a fan of the GTO, THE TROLL comment was referring the NSX screen shot come on its got to be fake no one else has reported it

I could see the Mazda Cosmos Sport coming to GT Sport.. Would be nice to see the R33 or 400R. There aren't many Mercedes so 300SL or very possibly SLR McClaren. I mentioned Miura. I would love to see the Countach 5000. Alfa Romeo Guilia TZ2. 1960 Corvette, 2008 Corvette ZR1. It would also be nice to finally get the Escort RS Cosworth in premium or the Lotus Carlton. Then there is the awesome Nissan 300ZX Twin Turbo or the Subaru 22B.

Hi too all, it's hard to tell what next update will bring, it would be nice to see some other recing classes as japanese Super GT cars or german DTM cars or some classic GT1 cars like Nissan 390 GT1.

New track ? - when it comes to me, I would love to race on Enna Pergusa, a great fast track:tup:, but I'm guessing that we'll get refreshed one from gt6.

So the cars so far by update are:

1.06

Total car count by country (so far)
Italy: 7
Germany: 2
USA: 5
Japan: 7

Don't think there is a pattern at all to how they are being released, although at the moment Germany and UK lagging behind a bit so maybe some new VW's, BMW's, and/or Merc's. Maybe even the likes of Lotus, TVR and or Caterham added this update??

Its pure speculation with no clues other than the numbers above. There are of course other nations not included so far in terms of additional content so they may even make an appearance!

I think we will get at least a new layout - probably Blue Moon Bay road course(s) as we have had one in each of the last two big updates. If there is an additional track on top of that it will definitely be a refreshed GT6 track (I'm hoping for some classic original circuits!).

Now i'm not sure when would the NSX would appears in an update but i believe it will come someday.

HI ToyGTone, I think you are right im sure the NSX will come, along with all the other GT5/6 Premium cars they should all be easier(fingers crossed) to bring to GT Sport.

Blue are brand new cars. Green are returning cars from Gran Turismo 6 and Brown/Maroon are cars that used to be standard but became Premium in GT Sport.
So i'm thinking that most of the new cars in the following update would be simply GT6 cars returning and maybe one or two new cars for the series.

I would assume something like this for example:

- Acura NSX '91
- Ferrari 250 GT Berlinetta passo corto CN.2521 '61
- Ford Mark IV Race Car '67
- Lamborghini Reventon '08
- Lotus Elise '11
- Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren (19 inch Wheel Option) '09

- Mclaren P1 '15
- Nissan Fairlady Z 300ZX TwinTurbo 2seater (Z32) '89
- Pagani Huayra '13
- Plymouth AAR Cuda 340 Six Barrel '70

- Toyota GT-ONE Road Car (TS020) '98
- Volkswagen Beetle 1200 '66

Some GT1 cars would be lovely. Especially the Ford GT40 LM, Castrol Toyota Supra LM, Toyota TS020 GT1, Nissan R390 GT1, Mercedes CLK GTR GT1, Porsche 911 GT1, Lotus Elise GT1, McClaren F1 GTR GT1 (longnose)., Bentley Speed 8 GT1. Toyota Minolta 88C-V GT1, Nissan R92CP, Nissan R89C GT1, NSX GT1, Jaguar XJR-9, Mercedes Sauber C9. Viper LM GT1, Nismo GT1, Most of these GT1 or Le Mans cars were in previous games except for the Elise GT1 and the Porsche GT1 or the F40 LM as those cars were not in GT5 nor GT6.
