^ I'm also watching those series too, but somehow I'm struggling to watch animes lately. :(

It's been a while since I watched anything as I've been too lazy to hook my laptop up to the TV. I've only got 3 episodes of Kaze no Stigma left. Still need to watch Durarara, Gungrave, and Bakemonogatari which I've got ready to go. I just kinda went to AniDB and found stuff that was rated like 7 or higher, plus I write down what I'm interested in of the new stuff so I can watch it when it's all available. I'll watch just about anything if I think it looks good.

Wing, yes. SEED, no. Hell no.

1. The characters don't all look alike (except for Lyle and Neil, but they're brothers).
2. I'll just leave it at that...

Just keep into it, you should start to see the UC potential in the story. Something SEED tried too hard at attempting and failed horribly as a result IMO.

 
^ I didn't like SEED after I watched the 1st episode on my New Type USA free DVD extra. So yeah, I'm with you on that! ;)

Gunpla Builders is mostly targeted toward children. It kind of mimics the whole 'battle-ready' ordeal seen in things like Pokemon and Yu-Gi-Oh.

At least I think (about that last part) unless I misunderstood something. In any case, pay little to no attention to it.
 
^ If thats the case, if it goes out of control like Pokemon, Bakugan & Yu-Gi-Oh. At least this is the one I'll be watching. :sly:

Let me know when you decide that Saber is a really muscular girl. 00 kept on the root of just war preventer's then I just gave up watching entirely but I will see if I could resume after I watch HighSchool of the Dead.

That's what I read. Although, it was more, Kagome and Inuyasha got "married". I don't remember reading they had a kid. I know Sango and Miroku do.
 
Let's see, finished Desert Punk and thought it was pretty stupid save the last 4 episodes. Tried to watch 009-1 but didn't like it as it was essentially a Ghost in the Shell version of Charlie's Angels (not kidding. The premises is all Charlie's Angels and the rest is stolen from GITS.) But, I am enjoying Claymore. Hot ladies killing demons with big ol' Scottish Claymores, yeah, it's pretty awesome.
 
Crap! Netflix doesn't have the last three episodes of Claymore. That's alright, 'cause those last three are on the 6th DVD. So, all I have to do is try and rent it.

Yes. It's coming out on DVD (and Blu-ray), but they don't state whether it's this year or next alongside the 2 volume release of the original MS Gundam. :mad:

In other news, I've begun watching Outlaw Star (I effin' love the anime adaptation, haven't read the manga, yet) again, as well as Zeta Gundam, 0080, 0083, and some other stuff. I gave Phase 2 of SEED Destiny a whirl, and my god, never again. Now I see why I never made it past Phase 2 of the original SEED. :yuck:
 
I tried, and really I tried to watch Gundam Wing when it was aired here. I could not stand more than ten episodes. Slow, characters were annoying as hell (aghhhh that girrrrl), battles were lame, politics were lame... the Gundam designs were mostly cool, but we already know that gundams always look good for the most part. Are all the other Gundam series like it?

On another note, I'm borrowing Wolfsrain from a friend. It's music is downright amazing so I want to see the series. Has anyone here seen it?
 
Wolf's Rain is awesome. And yes, the music is awesome, as well. The soundtrack was composed by Yokko Kanno, who also did soundtracks for Cowboy Bebop and Ghost in the Shell, and a bunch of others. However, Wolf's Rain is considered her best work and it won her several awards, including Best Anime Soundtrack at a couple events.

Yes, I know all that stuff. I got it because it was composed by her in the first place and not knowing what the series was about (I still don't really know very well). I've got all of Kanno's work lying around, but I really think Bebop's OST is her best work... albeit I'm a big jazz sucker. Even so, it really is eclectic and every piece in it is SO VERY WELL DONE. If Wolfsrain's was larger then it may compete with Bebop's, but I think it fell short because of it. It is still extraordinary.

And, er, the Ghost in the Shell soundtrack was made by Kenji Kawaii. The Ghost in the Shell Stand Alone Complex (series) was made by Kanno, and is also stupid awesome.
