I do see something wrong with it:

the head is ENORMOUS when compared to the rest of her body. Redo the head... or the body.

Her left hand is incredibly big too.

And her legs are too short... and for the love of God give some form to her legs!!!

So, yeah... keep on practicing dude. Drawing this stuff is really freaking hard.

If you didn't see anything wrong with mine, chances are there's something wrong with yours  i spent 2 days colorin this only to find out that the proportions are incorrect. wasted my time there, kinda. I'm going all grayscale first next time (like i did when i first used photo shop). Honestly, i find anime to be so tricky at times, the lack of form structure via gradiences is tough for me at time...

So two live action versions of possibly the two most famous anime series are due out this year.

Cowboy Bebop was scheduled for release later this year, but it might get delayed until 2012 due to a script re-write. This one is from 20th Century Fox and will star Keanu Reeves as Spike.

After a series of seemingly random purchases that included Shoots and Ladders and Candyland movie rights (not kidding) among other things, Spielberg is finally scheduled to release his Ghost in the Shell live action film later this year. although it's a scary thought, the executive producer for Shutter Island and Executive Producer and screenwriter for Shutter Island, Laeta Kalogridis is writing the script. Or has written it, actually. In an interview for Shutter Island, Laeta mentioned that the movie will have LOTS of action and atmosphere and be about the endless possibilities for technology. Let's hope that there will be a bit about Major's struggle between what the difference is between humanity and AI. One thing is for certain about this movie: it should be visually good at least.

when has an anime transposition into live action ever worked?

I heard of cowboy bebop and evangelion but ghost in the shell too?

2012 really is the end of the world...:nervous:

Yeah. I know it's scary. They could be good. I haven't seen too many live action anime movies. (I think Speed Racer and Initial D are the only ones...Speed Racer was the better one) Battle Angel is also being made into a movie and the script was written by the same chick who wrote the GITS live action script.

I probably won't see Cowboy Bebop until it comes to netflix as Keanu has Spike's form, but he has that stupid monotone voice that doesn't work for much. (He'd make a good voice actor for Batman, though).

I might see GITS depending on the previews. That one could make for a good live action movie if it's done correctly.

For the Cowboy Bebop movie, all the producers and directors for the anime series are on staff for the movie. So, it could end up being half-way decent. Personally, I'd just get the Matrix brothers to direct both movies. Heck, Matrix is based off of Ghost in the Shell. And all their movies are essentially live action anime.

death note is amazing, im watching the anime right now no spoiling please ;). Light forfeits the death note at one point, yet he remembers murdering all those people?i thought that ditching the notebook meant forgetting about its existence, death gods and everything else

Don't worry about spoiling Death Note here. ;) Anyway, of the new for 2011 shows that have come out, who likes what? For me, its way too early to tell. I do know one thing, the women in Freezing and Infinite Stratos are beautiful! :sly: Um need to add something... Currently watching Kimi Ni Todoke 1st season... and.. WOW. Great show with an awesome of a pretty opening song! :D

like you said already, it's too early to tell, but quite frankly, i wouldnt know what shows are set for 2011 unless someone else spoke about it... gintama and kampfer is al im aware of and i am looking forward to kampfer ;) via shizuku

Im gunna wait a few weeks before i start anything from the new season, like the look of beelzebub and it has some hype, but i've heard people say they dont think it will live up to the manga.(like most shows)

Will be watching kimi ni todoke 2nd season though.

People say they dont think it will live up to the manga.(like most shows)

If people live by this rule, then anime would have stopped airing ages ago... People watch anime knowing that the manga is better and still will watch it regardless.

To me, it's a meaningless thought to hold when watching anime now. Just enjoy the anime as it is and enjoy the manga as it is. Better yet, try not to compare the two 👍

Stupid Netflix doesn't have all the episodes of Burst Angel so I kept getting parts of stories. So, now I don't know what to watch.

Animefreak.tv, you should be able to find what you want there. Have you watched Shakugan no Shana or Claymore? Probably have, am I correct? What about Kampfer?

edit: I just finished CLANNAD.. was very touching, I found out really late that CLANNAD was a off-spring of a video game. No wonder it was so much like Shuffle! and included those random achievement pop-ups. Finishing up Death Note, half way through La Corda D'Oro and starting After Story...

edit: Just got done that B&W drawing I wanted to do for a week now, I'm glad it didn't take me as long... looks like I still got time to do another drawing that I wanted to do over the break

goodmusic.png

It's called "Good Music", where I believe that this is the expression you should have (externally or internally), when you hear Good music... Of course not every good song will give you this impression. This is 1 of the 3 expressions you put on when you hear Good Music. Joke-wise: this could also be an expression you have when you listen to really bad music

The idea spawned from watching Death Note (in case any mods were wondering how this is thread-relevant), and my recent purchase (look at what he (me) is wearing).

In other words, G-Saviour didn't really have anything to do with the Gundam Universe but having colonies named sides and the Gundam. The Yatterman live action was really good after I didn't skim through it. I though it was a bit adultish because it small jokes or references here and there but it was a Good live action next to "When they cry"

nk4e, have you started watching clannad yet? *insert coolface*

If you guys like classical music, La Corda D'Oro isn't a bad choice, I was looking for more animes to watch and was interested when "Music" was a selectable Genre, then I thought: "an anime where I can listen to beautiful music? I'm in."

Started Bakuman, Clannad After Story (I want to know who that girl and that robot are!),
Half way through La Corda D'Oro and
Finishing up Death Note

:P

Witch hunter Robin ep 12 very interesting. Nice to see classical references, Goya's Saturn eating his children, runic A for adulteress from Scarlet Letter. Finally get a carry-over episode, and into Robin's ulterior motives.

You've started After story, i'll warn you now, you'll find every other show in that genre **** from now on.

NOOOOO!

i think thats pne of the bad things about watching good shows it makes everything else look bad ad you will no longer enjoy any more shows because of it :(

Finished Gintama a while back, looking forward to it coming back in April.

Watched Kurokami, okay. Started Witch Hunter Robin (aka Bike Messenger Robin) and liking it better, though I was annoyed with the sloppy integration of CG and cell animation at first. Also started Clannad thanks to numerous recommendations, and yes the eyes kind of drive me crazy, but it's definitely funny, and nice to hear Shinpachi again, so I'm sure I'll watch it through (though it pushes my taste limits and makes me feel somewhat uncomfortable like I could turn into an otaku if I keep watching this kind of thing...)
