Dangan Ronpa (because I have no other place to post this).

I can understand how a Japanese person might not see this but it's pretty goddamn obvious to an native English speaker what she wrote in the blood. I don't have pics but if I could show them it would be extremely obvious. Just about ruined this whole part of the game, for me, now I'm just looking for evidence against the culprit. Too bad, I really liked Leon and Maizono too.

In contrast, I hated the both of them...

(EDIT: I'm talking about the game here... Same thing for the animation.) You're right, they [NIS America or the animation squad] could've at least made the writing more subtle... maybe cover more of the writing with Maizono's body. Seeing something that obvious does take the fun out of the investigation. I guess this is one of the complications that comes forth when translating games.

Also, Sakura and her manly boobs :p
 
@Man of Mister I think that I would have seen it no matter what happened. I'm not planning to watch the animation because I hear it was trash.

Sakura is 0/10 for me. Mikasa from AoT is already repulsive.

EDIT: I could go for a non-H VN after playing a little bit... Any suggestions?

So I saw The Garden of Words now, beautifully animated and drawn film, it's real eye candy right there.

As for the story, an interesting and refreshing romance story. I think the ending could have been better though.

Would be nice to watch with a lady friend (Who's getting into anime or just in general) or if you wanna see a flick

You flatter me. Every time I watch a livestream of his, it makes me want to draw. I'm grateful that I can still be motivated this easily. Boring ol' me would be hella depressed if I ever lose the interest to draw.
 
Saw it (Garden of Words) upscaled on a friends 4k TV. I was somewhat mindblown.

Gonna give "Children Who Chase Lost Voices" a try soon.

We upgraded the TV's firmware to support HDMI 2.0 (60 hz). We used a 700 series Nvidia card. Those cards support HDMI 1.4a (30hz @ 4k), but Nvidia released a driver allowing 60hz @ 4k. 240hz = chops (debatable). No one wants to see a 3D induced algorithm on something already sexy :lol:
 
Okay, I got a question. I want to start watching Anime. Where should I start that isn't Dragon Ball Z or Bleach (Two Animes I enjoy)?

I also recommend watching Evangelion later when you've gotten used to anime as a medium, due to the fact that many posts in this thread reference it :lol:

Hunter x Hunter, since it's a shounen much like those two. Kill la Kill is another one.

I think that shounen should be avoided as a whole because many of them are mediocre beyond the hype. But in the end, it's the watcher's call.
 
I suggest either getting the Grisaia no Kajitsu VN, or if the pornographic content is a bit too much for you, the anime version.

If you want a good quality moe anime, I highly recommend Chuunibyou demo Koi ga ****ai!. My avatar is from it if that helps any. ;)

Hunter x Hunter is different. Not sure about the hype but it's a very good shounen. I can't compare it to Naruto or all the others since I don't touch on them but Hunter x Hunter takes it to a different level. Then again, you could say that with One Piece or Fairy Tail..

I hear that about all shounen so I'm desensitized to it.

Oh Kill La Kill is amazing if you're not bothered by nudity.
