Can you identify who is who?

The groupie only consist of 3 members unfortunately. I guess a2ki could've did Konata, but that's breaking up the twins.

Then Miyuki should've been the one to go. You'd have to re-shuffle the cosplayers in height order, but Miyuki's definitely the least relevant of the four of the Lucky Star mains.

Aha! I am an exemption! :mischievous:
 IDK about AU/NZ but I'm pretty sure that having sex with anyone under 18 no matter what your age is illegal in the US. Sure you can look all you want though, as long as it's not explicitly pornography. That's a big no-no ;)

Over here the legal age is 16, but that's not what I was referring to, but rather it's not really weird for a 15 year old to find another hot. ;)

They're a bunch of women dressing up as schoolgirls for the attention of creeps.
No perving on 15 year olds!

Roger, please get a Tumblr. They'd love your incessant politics.

But I'm going to keep on perving over technically underage anime girls and not care, because I'm secure enough in the knowledge that I'd never do something like that to a real girl in real life. Fiction =/= reality. Unless you're completely retarded and don't have a proper mental distinction between cartoons and real life, which is a different problem altogether.

We're talking about an art form in which all of these characters are 18:

Yet this character is apparently 17:

Not forgetting about 21-year-old Akatsuki:

But then Mami is 15:

Which is why these arguments make no sense; the perception of "age" is so dependant on artistic style that the number that official canon ties to the character's "age" doesn't really matter.

Oh, and did I mention that they're cartoon characters? Yeah, there's that too. So... y'know, not real.

Worrying that someone being sexually attracted to cartoon characters who look like they're 8 may have a negative effect on their mental health and social life and possibly get them arrested despite having not caused any harm to anyone* is incessant politics. Riiiiiiiiiiiiiight...

Oh, and...

No perving on anyone. It's creepy to perv on anyone.

Unless they consent to it.

Anyway, the other reason that people perving on Mami Tomoe in particular annoys me is that I actually like Mami as a character, and seeing other people acting like that has a negative effect on my perception of an utterly superb piece of storytelling. So, yeah.

*I'm not a psychologist, but I'd guess that those who are into lolicon stuff are more likely to be child abusers simply because they clearly already have dodgy preferences, to say the least; however I can't actually find a direct way in which that stuff harms anyone, although by proxy it may encourage some creeps to do horrible things, which is a thought that unnerves me.

Girls of the Wilds chapter 179:

Wimp main character finally does something cool to impress the girl who has a total crush on him. Took 179 chapters... the 179th week to make it happen. That's over 3 years. Wow.

I started watching Haruhi again. Now that I'm older and watching it in chronological order, it makes more sense.

In other news, I sense that plenty of the opposite sex around have contracted something known as GasaiYuno Syndrome. Kinda scary of you ask me

So if pillows weren't enough, someone had a vision to make a pillow with an interactive AI that emulates emotional responses.

Rub it, squeeze it, but don't go overboard, because it won't be happy about it.

Speaking of this topic, I found a reddit thread the other day that deals with how Japan tolerates and depicts girls in media (I know, I know, it's reddit. But the discussion on this one is actually intriguing).

I hope we can all agree that perving on girls just isn't something you want to do in public, no matter what the age. And yes, that includes here in this thread. It'd be a shame if it got locked after more than ten years of being open.

I started it. Looks weird, the left to right style of reading it trips me up. My first time reading something Korean :indiff:

Then we're all frickin' screwed then. Better watch out for our names in the news as that type of person.
