Rule #1 about Love Live is that if you have any kind of fetish there will be fanart of one of the girls out there that covers it. Doesn't matter how insane your interests might be.

I think they portrayed his living as a dead give awayMy favorite episode of Shirobako. Guy on the bottom is Hideki Anno, the director of Evangelion. The show called him "Mitsuaki Kanno" the director for "Ava".

I agree, letters from Iwo Jima was an outstanding film. 👍 Portrayed that battle perfectly. Is this why she always breaks
I'll leave now
also her face makes you think she just died on the inside
I've never seen anything Japanese (besides Letters from Iwo Jima) which actually depicted a military lifestyle accurately.
The second last episode of Shirobako had such a great ending.
The way they animated Miyamori trying to hide her tears was very well done. You could feel the amount the emotions she was going through from her shifting left to right looking for something to hide behind.
I can relate to Shirobako pretty well. When you've waited years for something to finally come true, you'd be balling your eyes out, and that's what I think Miyamori was crying about when what's-her-face stepped in for the role of Lucy.
I should be receiving this in the next few days. I can't wait.

Considering they had an episode about the M16 malfunctioning a lot due to factors only present in Vietnam and in the A1 version I don't think they really care. She was always jamming...should be upgraded to the A2.
I got that feeling when watching it.Considering they had an episode about the M16 malfunctioning a lot due to factors only present in Vietnam and in the A1 version I don't think they really care.
Yeah, I saw that too when I was watching it. I should rewatch Shirobako sometime..
Funny enough finishing Nodame Cantabile a while ago made me think similarly as well.
Do you still think Shirobako is a glorified perspective on anime production?
Also I think this may be relevant

This really makes me want to get into animation - seems like an easy profession to get into if I'm skilled right due to the general lack of actual people, but popularity of the finished product.
If you're talking about the anime industry, you're gonna have to be very fluent at Japanese first. Plus you'll have to accept long hours without much pay.
And I don't think it has much to do with how popular a show is. Animating is animating. The only difference is that more stress is riding on everybody since the show you're working on is high-profile. Then again, I'm not at a expert so I'm hoping a certain person who used to regularly visit here can vouch.
