I've never seen anything Japanese (besides Letters from Iwo Jima) which actually depicted a military lifestyle accurately.

I haven't seen Letters from Iwo Jima, so I have no idea of what your notion of military lifestyle accuracy is. From my real-life military experience, it's a bit like Nichijou with muscles. But you should probably check out Zipang.

Suit Saber is one of the best things ever.
I whole hard-diddly agree.

Anyway, the new Touhou game is out now, and I was wondering if there's any information available about the characters from Stage 4 onwards. So I went on the internet and I found this:

Afterwards, I found this, on the Touhou Wiki. It's a list of all the characters in LLK along with links to their respective (and as yet empty-ish) wiki pages. Junko is the first final boss of the Windows era, and fifth overall, who only has one name, and Clownpiece will almost certainly be portrayed in fanart as having huge tracts of land because America.

I quite like Hecatia's design.

Profile picture checks out. I would have put that in a spoiler though

It's a really gritty movie. I highly recommend it because it portrays the atmosphere and the actual life of the soldiers on the island interestingly, if not accurately.

Well I don't know too much about Clownpiece, but there will probably be silly art of her more than anything else.

I actually think Sagume is the best looking Touhou character for a while. To my eyes, she just looks so...right. Though I fear her one wing style won't take off.

What. The. Fack?

New Touhou is out today.

Kishin Sagume. Looks somewhat edgy.

ClownpieceTH15.png

Clownpiece. No, this really is her outfit. This is not a joke. She is literally America.

JunkoTH15.png

Junko. Looks like a red-headed Byakuren.

HecatiaLapislazuliTH15.png

Hecatia Lapizlazuli...looks like...well, fetish fuel actually.

Why does that remind me of...

... the Amazon Quartet from Sailor Moon?

I know it's not exact, but it's what I thought

Evangelion, Initial-D, Space Brothers, Wangan Midnight, Nichijou, Steins Gate.

Otherwise, I don't watch much Animoo, and I smell something in this thread (not mentioning any names)

A bit late but here's my thing for this week. Is this still happening or have we all just sort of stopped?

It's more of a 'whenever you can' now I guess. Awesome drawing I must say.

I'm not willing to admit that I'm as bad of a case as Filthy Frank makes everybody out to be, but it's probably true from another person's standpoint.

It's probably worth pointing out that any Filthy Frank video needs a massive LANGUAGE WARNING for it.
