I was personally shocked to see Berserk so high on the list. It's a pretty weird and not always well executed series. Also the Dragonballs... That's why I stressed that this is a list made by imdb users. I'm guessing a lot of the votes (for the numbered entries on the list, which had 1500+ votes) came from people who only occasionally watch anime, or just saw it because it was on TV here. The Dragonballs must be from people who watched it when they were kids and have fond memories or something, because serious anime lists always rank them as mediocre at best.
Most of my favorite anime are on the list, though, so there must be some imdb users who share my preferences. Nice in particular to see Mushi-shi, Samurai Champloo, Welcome to the NHK, and Rurouni Kenshin rate pretty high.

My synopsis on the show since most of you won't have a clue what it is:
7 Samurai chicks go to war fighting off invaders to their great nation of Japan. Except that is what's suppose to happen, but noooo we get none of this. Story never reaches that point and instead we get a completely different ending..... Awful story, excellent action, character design (appearance, not personality) and artwork.
